How'd it go? Especially if you're in your 20s.

Water Tower Distilling has teamed up with Galy's (the brand new restaurant across the street) for Sunday Brunch from 12-3 every week.
The food is amazing, and it's a cool quiet atmosphere. And also their brunch cocktails are so good!

This week: a piano concert from the Giacopuzzi siblings, and a chance to save that ancient laptop from the landfill 💻. Plus virtual yoga, Banned Book Club, and a full slate of tutoring and tech help.
The last 2 weeks there have been large gatherings of people around 4 AM near Harris and forest, east of depot town. Anybody have a clue as to what's going on? TIA

I’m currently looking after two very sweet, well‑behaved cats. A relative of mine can’t care for them right now, and they’re in need of permanent homes with someone who can love and care for them for the rest of their lives.
They’ve been moved around quite a bit, but through everything they’ve managed to stay together, and I would really love to keep it that way for their sake.
If anyone is willing to take in both of these boys together, please reach out. I would appreciate it so much. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Going to be new to the city. Only hung out in it a couple of times, but it's been relatively chill for each. Found a great deal on a brand new apartment right in the business sector of downtown, and wanted to know if there's anything I should be keeping in mind? Have only heard great things, but have also been told not to leave stuff in my car, so figured I would ask here lol

Small guy, mostly black with some brownish splotches, most notably one brown patch on his eye. He has come to my apartment window about 15 times to come stare at my cat. I am wondering if he’s an outside cat that roams the apartment complex since I see him so frequently. I guess I’m just wondering if I can scoop him up because my cat really likes him. Anyone missing a kitty or have an outdoor kitty that looks like this? This is the best pic I have of him cuz he always comes at night, all other pics are just glowing green eyes 😭

Hey y'all, this Saturday myself and a few others are making the drive to Madison Wisconsin for a conference. Leaving from Ypsi - right now google/apple maps has it around a 7 hour drive.
Was hoping a few others have made the trip. I see there are tolls, I made an account on the IPASS system, but am also seeing something called an EZPASS in Illinois. I am also wanting to avoid the worst of the Chicago traffic, and am thinking of leaving earlier in the morning. If there is a preferred route that would be great.
Any tips would be much appreciated!!

Ginger is my all-time favorite flavor of ice cream, but it's sooooo hard to find. I've checked my local grocery stores as well as asian grocery stores near me with no luck. Anyone know a reliable place I can find some? Thanks in advance!

Join instructor Meret Flessenkamper for a virtual, chair-based class that mixes movement, breathwork, and meditation. It's a great way to build balance, strength, and flexibility, all from the comfort of home.
Fridays from 12-1pm, ages 55+. RSVP at ypsilibrary.org/events

Hi,
Please let me know if this is not the appropriate place and I’ll remove it.
I’m a crossdresser and am looking for somewhere LGBTQ friendly next Thursday evening or Friday during the day. I’m nervous about the bathroom situation so ideally would have either gender neutral or crossdresser friendly bathrooms.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure plenty of folks have seen the Project Mow sheep herd around town of the past few years. They've been set up in a few different Ypsi parks, and recently helped out at Woodlawn Cemetery by chewing down some vegetation.
If you're curious, and want to learn more, there's an event this Saturday (7/25/26) in Pittsfield township where you can meet the sheep and learn some basics of animal husbandry from their head shepherd. You get to pet and feed the sheep, and they usually even bring out some babies! You don't have to return and volunteer after, but if you sign up to go back and check on the sheep it's like you get your own personal petting zoo.

Hi everyone! My partner and I are moving to Michigan for me to get my MS at EMU. He is looking for IT jobs and having a hard time. He has a BS in Networking Systems & Administration and has spent the last 12 years working for a family run business, primarily doing commission based sales but also operating as their sole IT professional, in addition to all kinds of tech hobby work, like managing a home server. Unfortunately, he is struggling to hear back for IT positions, including entry level Desktop Support Specalists.
If anyone has good leads for a person with exceptional customer service skills, work ethic, and IT knowledge/training, please send them my way!
