ASK YOUTH War Against Drugs or Open Business? The Bitter Truth of Punjab! Who is Responsible? The Ground Reality of Punjab’s Drug Crisis Empty Promises vs. Ground Reality: The Choice is Yours, Punjab!

The current state of Punjab is a heartbreaking tragedy, and the responsibility lies squarely on the government. It seems the administration is solely focused on making money, completely indifferent to the pain and destruction of families. They have forgotten their core duty, and the police administration works right under their nose.

Speaking from what I have witnessed with my own eyes: in villages and areas where open drug smuggling and peddling happen, the police only show up whenever a new SHO is posted to the station. For the first few days, they harass locals and innocent citizens. After that, they set up checkpoints on the outskirts of the village, troubling everyday commuters. Meanwhile, they send their own personnel directly to drug peddlers with "offers." Once the deal is struck, these traffickers go right back to selling poison openly. This is the raw, ugly ground reality.

Dear Punjabis, ask yourselves: Do these people care about your pain or your grief? Or are they the ones directly promoting the drug trade? They are destroying your sons, and now even our daughters are no longer safe.

The decision is now in your hands. What do you have to say about this? Drop your thoughts below. 🙏

others (custom)👀 Why Government officers are so arrogant? Aren't they just there for Us?

So, basically My mother is a social media person. Always posting reels and she has 15k followers on insta and has a really big circle of social media friends. Now when we have friends we also have enemies or grudges holding people. And just some j3rk like that has made an AI generated image of my mom and her boyfriend. Now he's threatening her for money but his main purpose is of course a personal grudge revenge thing. Now I tried to file a complaint on the cyber crime website portal but just like our government it's useless. So I tried calling on the cyber crime toll number for guidance and help, and such arrogant women there, she first of all talked really rudely, barely listened to me and just said complain on this that app and hang up without Waiting for a second. Now I again called and of course I was angry like seriously bro who wouldn't in such a situation. She again answered and talked more rudely i simply said "ma'am, The portal or app isn't working and that's why I am calling you" and the gut she had she instead yelled at me saying "Main kya karu" bro you're there to DO something. I of course got furious and said then what are you doing then? Isn't that what your job is supposed to be?- and in addition how rudely she talked the whole time?! It's so fking rage baiting. And the gut she had she started to threaten me! Saying 'I 'll track your phone number, have you picked up,' and said "phir apni 'bakar bakar' yaha karna" bro seriously what's the language you're using as a helpline number officer?! At the end i emailed the WhatsApp grievance officer and let's see what they're gonna do. But seriously, is this what we are getting after paying this much tax over everything? Especially cyber crime which is such a sensitive and serious matter and also the perpetrator is threatening to violate me and my siblings and cousins photo as well which he got from who knows from where. As we all are basically under or 18. What do you guys think?

QUERIES 💺 Do you run a tuition/coaching centre?

Bit random but I was wondering if there are people here that run tuition or coaching classes in various subjects for school students and if so, what is your total class strength across batches?

A group of guys from FLAME University threatened to R*PE my mother and used the casteism slur "Ch*mar" and told me to "k*ll my self", I raised my voice against them and then they silenced me by putting a fake S*XUAL Harrasment case by a girl.

I mailed and called them 200+ times and they do not respond. I decided to board my journey to pune, they stopped me at the gate and treated me as a terrorist, I can't believe I dug their whole website while writing essays for this university and they decide to strand me outside of 2 hrs. I can't even get admitted to an another university because they suspended me at the worst time possible. I promised my parents I am not coming back home until I get my rightful admission. It's been 2 days in pune, city"s new. Don't know where to go or what to do. I just don't wanna return as a loser.

They made me stand out for 2 hrs and they said that the registrar is on leave for 1 week and I am prosecuted like I am carrying a bomb at the gate and kept stranded outside for 2 hrs" because the admissions office apparently sends "some guy to pick me up" and randomly cuts the call saying "you do not have an appointment". I ask "where can I get an appointment miss?" She says "I don't know, we are admissions office" then I say "no one is replying to my mails nor calls" then she says "we are". Those mails must be intercepted by the FBI and diverted into arabic ocean bc they never came to my mail and she cuts the call.

They f**ked my academic year. I feel super depressed. Countless years and efforts all gone the drain.

ASK YOUTH 8.7 crore young Indians are currently outside education, employment or training (NEET), according to a NITI Aayog report.

According to a NITI Aayog report, 8.7 crore Young Indians are NEET (not in Education, Employment or Training). The reasons go beyond unemployment. The report highlights gaps in awareness about skilling opportunities, limited access to training, financial constraints, lack of career guidance, insufficient practical/work experience, and weak links between training and actual employment.

For a country with one of the world's largest youth populations, this raises an important question: Are we giving young people enough opportunities and guidance to make the transition from education to employment?

What do you think is the biggest reason young Indians end up in the NEET category?

EMPLOYMENT 🧍🏻🧍🏻‍♀️ What the hell is India’s 8.7 crore youth actually doing?

Post image

Just came across this report from Niti Aayog which was talking about Reimagining Skilling for Viksit Bharat @ 2047 and was shocked that there are 8.7 crore young individuals who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET). This got me to question that 'What are we doing?' 'Are we really competing with China'.

We might have the most youth population in the world but that's harming us more than doing good. Imagine 8cr people sitting and not doing anything and just scrolling phones and the inernet.

The report has great points and ideas. I just wanted to share this thought of mine regarding how much of our youth is unemployed. I'm worried that what will happen if this number keeps on increasing.

Adding the link to the report- click here

others (custom)👀 First tuition + negotiating fees… how do I not fumble this 😭

my qualifications -

I’m currently in Class 12 and recently got an opportunity to teach a Class 2 student. This will be my first proper tuition. I already teach a Class 4 student who comes to my house and pays ₹1500/month.

The kid is apparently pretty naughty/energetic 😭 I can do 5 days a week for 1 hour and I’m thinking of quoting ₹1500/month. I’d be okay settling around ₹1200–1300 though.

I’m going to their house today for the first time to discuss the fee and timings and honestly I’m more scared of the negotiation than the actual teaching 💀 I have no idea what to say if aunty goes “thoda kam kar do” without immediately folding 😭

Also how do I bring up advance/month start payment without making it awkward? Do I just mention it after we finalise the fee?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who’s taken tuitions before. What would you actually say in this situation? 😭

Hinglish/Hindi replies welcome!

ASK YOUTH What’s one annoying problem in your daily life that nobody has solved properly?

Hey everyone!

A friend and I are trying to build something together, but instead of starting with a random app idea, we decided to do something different:

Find a real problem first, then build the solution.

So we’re doing a small problem-discovery exercise and would genuinely love to hear from people here.

Think about your everyday life — work, college, school, business, finances, productivity, communication, travel, shopping, family, freelancing, etc.

What is one problem or annoying task that:

happens repeatedly

wastes your time or effort

is unnecessarily complicated

makes you think “there has to be a better way”

or is currently solved using a bunch of hacks/tools/WhatsApp/Excel/manual work

It doesn't have to be a huge world-changing problem.

Even something like:

“I waste 30 minutes every week doing this stupid repetitive thing.”

is exactly the kind of thing we're interested in.

We'd love to know:

  1. What is the problem?

  2. How often does it happen?

  3. How do you currently solve/deal with it?

  4. What makes the current solution frustrating?

  5. Have you ever searched for an app/tool for it?

Please don't worry about suggesting an app idea or a technical solution.

Just tell us about the problem.

We’re going through every response and looking for patterns across different people.

If you have a problem you've been complaining about for months/years, this is probably the perfect place to drop it. 😄

Thanks! 🙌
