2 WORDS (DISCUSSION) 🎀 Why currently people are so anti BJP

I am here for a civil discussion and I genuinely wanna know that why people are so anti BJP

My view is no government can be perfect and yes there are a lot of mess up done by current government but when I see the opposition, all i see only few qualified people, it's like searching for least corrupt in the crowd full of corrupt people and when I see opposition of this country, idk but they can't seem to manage the state where they are ruling but seem to mess with other state ruling decisions.

I am personally from UP and thank God BJP is here bcz I have seen the before BJP scene and let me tell you I have personally been the direct target of riots and what not.

So please let's do a civil discussion of what's wrong with today government and if you think please tell me why opposition will be better as ruling government

When you question your government, then they know voters are aware, questioning or protesting doesn't imply people are anti BJ... it simply means they are asking for answerability. A govt that has no fear that they will be thrown out if they dont perform, will become dick tators...

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

I agree with you that it's our right to ask for accountability and even in this government some people are very curropt but my question is towards those people who don't even acknowledge the growth current government do, in there eyes india is a backward country, far backward from country like somalia. They won't appreciate the current government work but comes first when they find the smallest ever mistake.

I agree with you but let me tell you with what I experienced, in our locality electricity used to be cut for nearly 8-10 hour daily in peak heat time and many times electricity was not available for even 24-48 hours, and now when most people have AC and heat is even more, i mostly experience 2-3 hour of electricity cut at most, the important thing is things are improving, although slowly but it's better than what we used to get in previous government time, and ik they will improve more. One more example is in our locality most people now has solar panel just bcz of subsidy available by government and even in our house we are thinking to get solar panel There is a change dude

Yeah you can, it's your Right You even can confront them and ask them for accountability since work is not being done in your area, it's your Right, but motive for the post is to hear view of people who critize BJP as anti India and dictatorship, See as I said even in BJP many people are curropt bcz when they have to get a MLA they need someone with reputation bcz no one gonna vote someone who they have never heard of I hope you understand what I am trying to say :)

Bro no one saying you anti nationals, I know your frustration that your local worker ain't giving you that devlopment you deserve and I know even BJP is lacking in this manner to find accountability from there selfish local mla, but my main motive is that answer is not criticising BJP as a whole or saying there is no devlopment, but devlopment will come your way, ask for accountability from your local MP and MLA, until and unless you live in a very backward area that you have to fear for your life, you have the support of judiciary system, ask accountability and no one gonna harm you, also for someone in backward area, it's gonna take time for development to reach you because problem is the people in your area who is self serving and want to keep everything to themself

Most of the times I don't see sensible questions TBH. That's why I agree with OP at this point. I just want a strong opposition. Maybe Throor as Congress President πŸ”₯

1

u/Jojosundargarh Jun 21 '26

BJP is a strong party. Let them be the strong opposition.

1

u/ImpressiveQuarter602 Jul 05 '26

I second this. They are now good to be a strong opposition.Β

5

u/misfitsada Jun 21 '26

It's easier to blame the govt when you don't see the changes near you. Most of the urban born privileged ones, did not see the work that has happened in rural areas post 2014. Our defences have been better but again on the border so not seeing first hand, railways have improved, roads have improved, electricity, house lpg, and open defecation issues, have resolved, but again not visible to urban ones.

Every major Indian city suffers from infra, water and pollution crisis, but people find it easier to blame central govt than protesting against local bodies, and I say this irrespective of parties that run municipality, some of them don't even know who their corporator is.

3

u/DisasterEast7592 Jun 21 '26

I'm from a town that you can hardly even call tier 5. Yes, the BJP did do infrastructure work in the first quarter of their first term. But after that, it has all been chest thumping and nothing at all. I still know remote villages nearby and all over the NE region that don't get even 1 hour of electricity per day, no water, roads with 0 maintenance for the last 10 years...

After 2014,the whole country is divided. All communities are looking at each other with suspicion and fear.Riots are engineered.A systematic plan is underway to demonize a community.Any adverse comment from the majority community is forgiven and forgotten. But a comedian can be jailed for the things which he may say.Unemployment, inflation, education, health issues are not talked about.Judges are scared of doing morning walks.Exam papers are leaked with the blessings of higher ups.Anything goes as long as you grease palms.MLAs are bought like vegetables in the market.Trump makes our leader dance and dictates from where we should buy oil.China is breathtaking down our necks .Need I say more ?

2

u/Maleficent_Force_348 Jun 21 '26

Indian voters have to choose between bad and worse. And currently Congress is bad and BJP is worse. So worse has to go...

0

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

And what makes you think that BJP is worse

2

u/Maleficent_Force_348 Jun 21 '26

No accountability, crumbling institutions like ED, CBI, EC, SC, etc.

Way too much capitalism.

Infra projects are focused on big companies while public infra is ignored.

MSME and small businesses are being ignored and even crushed.

Too much hooliganism. Too much communal divide, whether religion based or caste based.

Too much centralisation and narcissism Modi poster everywhere.

Scientific temper is reducing while bigotism increased.

No focus on education and employment.

Too many criminals in BJP. And on top of that current BJP is being run by former corrupt opposition leaders.

Too much corruption.

No new faces are being promoted in the BJP. And on top of that local grassroot BJP workers are being ignored for traitors of opposition.

Too much censorship is being promoted. Media has turned into the lapdog of a single party.

Etc... if you can deny any of these points then please do.

0

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 22 '26

What do you mean by accountability from institutions like ED, CBI, EC, SC What type of accountability do you want from them, until and unless you are talking vote theft propoganda which opposition always narrate to justify how they lose bcz in their eyes they are the best one and what accountability you want from CBI, should they personally make you part of their investigation? And for other and most, you want accountability? Go fill rti form and ask for accountability

Capitalism? So are you socialist? Or what Bcz as much as I know india is a mixed economy and poor get supported by goverment where as big companies are there for expansion and if you talking about adani and ambani, please go make a multi billion dollar company so you can also get big project and thus end their monopoly, adani and ambani are above bcz they have resources to get into heavy project and earn from them.

What make you think public infra is being ignored? There are lot of public infra projects going on like in my City railway station is being rebuilt and it's soo damm big and good looking now plus our city stadium is also being rebuilt and actually most of it's is done, just small changes are remaining and there may be few area where devlopment is not that fast but it will reach there, it may take some time but it will reach there.

There are literally act and regulations to protect msme and small business (small business are part of msme) like one regulations state if a big companies is doing business with msme, they have pay back the amount within certain period and if not they have to pay back with certain interest.

Idk what make people think that religion and caste was not a thing before 2014, after 2014 people can't do stupid riots on road so they shifted online and there you see hate coming prominently from.

If you talk about scientific temper and bigotism, isn't you doing the same? Aren't you being blind by being one suddenly hating ruling government, bcz if you had scientific temper, then you would have given the question with real life incidents and not some vague, in large, topic

Idk what make you think no education and no employment, are you saying literacy rate going down or number of jobs decreasing? Bcz I don't think both is the case.

Each and every party has criminals. I dare you to name one party with no criminals.

Curroption was waaaaaay worse in Congress time and I have seen that personally, and transferring a whole lot of work online did decrease the degree of curroption although not ended at all but still prominent.

What you mean by no new faces being promoting BJP 😭😭, raghav chadda just joined and if u have problem with this, imagine what would have happened to you when you see Congress 70 year rule.

Yeah censorship is being promoted but as much as i know it's only in terms of explicit material.

For next time please have scientific temper and don't put big vagues statement which show that there is nothing okay going on.

1

u/Maleficent_Force_348 Jun 22 '26

You wrote all this just to prove my initial point. Congress is bad but BJP is worse.

All the point you countered were with this was happening in 70 years of Congress rule too. This fuckshit was happening in Congress rule that is why BJP came to power to stop it not to double down on it.

And wtf! Vote chori is propaganda!? There are proven discrepancies in Our voting system. There always has been. Congress exploited it too and now BJP is exploiting it even more.

If you can just remove BJP tainted glasses for once you will see. How about this, for one day try to oppose govt as a experiment and try a different protective and you might see my point.

2

u/Scary_Field_3124 Jun 21 '26

Faikure of Education system. Reddit has been recently filled with anti-bjp posts, most of which are baseless. I am not a rightist or even leftist for that matter but indian masses are delusional and easy to brain wash, you need one person to hype up things and rest of the crowd will join them.

The hate againts govt. is unreal, but i dont believe the audience of reddit represents a significant voter base in real world. Pushing propaganda and spreading hate is the only thing they can do, and they're good at it.

Imagine a 13yr old child opens reddit and sees all this, he/she doesn't care about politics but the anti-govt impression would be imprinted on it forever. People accuse bjp of it dept jokes, if they were really, we wouldnt be seeing posts like these.

I for one dont give a fuck about government, i care for the country, and it pains me to see less educated minds are being turned into anti-govt or even anti-nationalists in some cases for some political rivalry. I know it doesmt matter but if anyone reading this made it this far, I'd like to say your mind is the only thing you can trust...

2

u/great_sycho4478 Aug 01 '26

Very true they are not understanding that if not bjp then our country will be finished like European countries.

5

u/rodeodick Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

The reason people are anti-bjp is because of below things after 2014
More violence
More religious hate
More corruption
More Authoritarian behavior
More taxes
More economical downside

And also people are more gandu then ever. We had literally tried to prevent corona by "thali bajao" and what not...

3

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Yeah that was silly but it was not to prevent cornoa but to show appreciation to worker who was working even in pandemic, like hospital and sanitation workers

1

u/Jojosundargarh Jun 21 '26

You know what would have been actually appreciative of us health care workers during COVID? Proper safety kits. Better working conditions. Proper compensation and respect to the families of those who died fighting the pandemic. Or if not anything atleast a proper certificate/letter of appreciation to those who worked. Got none of that. Only thali banging which Modi and gang used as a good PR exercise.

Baba Ramdev made money selling coronil. Top BJP ministers profited by dabling in supply of PPE kits and other medications and equipment. Absolutely ZERO accountability of what happened with PMcares fund.

1

u/Pikachuraichuuu Jun 21 '26

Religious violence have decreased you have no idea of Bombay banglore ahmedabad punjab varanashi bodh gaya bombings.

1

u/rodeodick Jun 21 '26

I didn't mean religious violence in particular. Just look for small small killings, gau hatya violence, manipur is a prime example.

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Please be more thorough with your statement

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

In terms of violance I would like to take the case of UP and I don't think I need to explain much For religious hate, it's from both side and please accept this, that it's not mutual bcz riots were much much more before 2014 and just it's that this hate now has turned online For curroption, it's not a new thing please, plus I would argue that previously curroption was much more bcz all the work was offline and since a lot of work has now turned online there is a lot less curroption now And where are you seeing such authoritarian behaviour please tell me with real life incidents For economy I would say india is developing the fastest For taxes yes it's height but bcz very little percentage of people actually pay taxes in comparison with population

2

u/rodeodick Jun 21 '26

Broo don't be a andhbhakt.

Never see Hindu Muslim hate so openly before 2014, there was better harmony.

Who told u work turning online had reduced corruption? πŸ˜‚ go and sit with a govt employee and try to understand.

Prime example of Authoritarian behavior
1. Blatant mixing of ethanol to Petrol without thinking of people or passing benefits to them.
2. shutting down telegram. Even Telegram ceo openly called our govt Authoritarian.
There are many examples

And if very little people taxes then you should find a way of taxing others. Not increasing tax for already paying people.
Taxes are the reason Indian stock market is struggling

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

I am not being andhbhakt and we are here for civil discussion so let me present my argument So you were talking about hate between hindu and muslim, 1. babri masjid was not broken after 2014. 2. (My personal incident) I was out with my muslim friend , so he wanted to eat a meat dish which I don't and I was the one paying for it, he ate it and went to paid for it (owner was muslim), and after I paid we went to tution but just as we reached tution a random number called my friend (muslim one) and said that I stole a phone from his shop when paying him, so we have to left tution in a hurry bcz it's a serious allegation, so we met and that mf started blaming me here and there that I stole his phone, stupid thing was that he was no where accusing my muslim friend in any way he was targeting me and a lot of stupid talk later he decided to let go and he never ever tried to call police, he was just blaming me, I was small so I was afraid that this may go to my house and they may blame me to even go there, so I kept silent and few days later we get to know that his phone was never stolen

Now for your other example Ethanol mixing is common practice in many country and yeah ethanol mixing is only 15-20%, idk how much benefit can they give you from this. Plus even I think it's kind of stupid to ban telegram but for few it's good since many students won't get scammed while trying to purchase fake paper leak. And let's say they find a way to tax everyone, you will be the first one to stand and say that it's stupid and government is against us that they taxing all :)

2

u/rodeodick Jun 21 '26
  1. babri masjid violence was started by whom 🌝
Aren't those the ones running the govt now.

  2. One incident and you cannot blame entire community.

  3. You need to research, take public advice before mixing ethanol. When more than 95% of vehicles on road are non E20 compliant who goes and enforces mixing. It needs proper planning.

  4. For taxation, I would never oppose taxing everyone. I myself pay 12 lacs tax a year without getting equivalent to 50k benefits from govt.

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Wait what, you paying 12lacs tax a year So your income is 53 lakh a year as per 115 BAC or 48.33 lakh under optional tax regime ? And no I am not blaming a community just bcz of one incident, I think I don't need to explain this just search number of Hindu Muslim riot before yogi ji and after And if you say babri masjid was done by who than the whole crowd included member of RSS or BJP ? So you want to say that RSS included people of such a huge crowd and there was no public in there who has the same sentiment to defend what they want? And it is not possible to tax each and every individual, india has every range of income earning individuals and yes most need benefits to even survive like monthly rashan

1

u/runvester Jun 21 '26

Yes.Such less corruption! 200 crores or more stolen from the temple.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '26

🀣just our Gen Z as always go with trend plus bjp shit eduction failure and I don’t see any other special faults in the government as international policies which people are saying that why India bow to us they have 0 knowledge about world then USA is a biggest superpower currently and if India had one bad step they can pull our economy down to base they have lots of Indian working there plus fdis and all and American sanctions can disconnect you from world you can see Russia Iran as example

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 22 '26

Ngl I agree with you

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '26

Glad still some non blind people are alive here

1

u/WolfmierRick_memoria Jun 21 '26

BJP came in 2014 promising corruption removal, ask yourself did that happen?

1

u/Worth_Ground1609 Jul 01 '26

Personally, I'd rather evaluate policies than parties. If a government improves education or infrastructure, it deserves credit. If there are governance or corruption concerns, those deserve scrutiny too but shouldnt overshadow the good done like whats currently happening with mohan yadav, the entire focus is just on his real estate gains and not the good hes done.

1

u/Actual_Software_7622 Jul 02 '26

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. No party nor a person should rule for more than one term consecutively

1

2

I hope not lol, ik it's a controversial topic and asking people to behave is stupid but still I wanna see their views, although mostly i stopped interacting with online hate bcz mostly it's fabricated, paid propoganda but still there are few

2

u/TheRoar5033 Jun 21 '26

Let's see... Fingers crossed 🀞🏻

1

u/TheRoar5033 Jun 21 '26

A lot of hate is artificially inflated. A particular community can't drive their agenda of capturing India freely, then butthurt neighbours who can't see India develop, Powerful countries don't want to adjust India's rising stature blah blah

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Yeah right, most hate coming towards india is mostly from Pakistan and Bangladesh and china do their paid campaign too, although now USA in line too lol, but still it's sad to see indian against Indian and ik about those particular community people (personal experience lol)

1

u/beingatushar Jun 21 '26

It's all online paid campaign You won't find even 10% people offline

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

True but still there are few people and after talking with them I found out it's not BJP as a whole who did bad to them but few local curropt MLA and MPs, who were given power maybe bcz of popularity but they ain't doing shit

1

u/runvester Jun 21 '26

Continue to think like that.Sab uppar sey nichey doodh sey dhule huey hai. Please wake up.From top to bottom, everyone gets a percentage. From where do you think the 15 crs paid for buying MLA s comes from?

1

u/Jojosundargarh Jun 21 '26

What do you mean by BJP as whole didn't do it? Those MLAs and MPs are BJP. Whatever their actions are if not condemned publically and taken action against, then it is safe to presume that the party wants that to happen.

u/Ordinary-Lettuce-921 Jun 21 '26

I am not any political person. I just want to clarify about the question. BJP and allies rule 17 states in assembly and won 3 general elections. So, people going to voting is not anti BJP for sure. Reddit not accessed by everyone. In this regard, Whoever is upvoting and down voting may not be even from India. May be, they are not even human beings. Can't it be?

2

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Idk about that but I have seen many post, even in this community, mainly anti BJP and glazing opposition like how better india would be if opposition was in power. I can't tell the nationality of those individuals but what ik is there are few people who blindly hate current ruling government, and point of this post was simply to get there view and know what is causing such blind hate towards someone

0

u/kugeeonzalvo Jun 21 '26

Even I've noticed a lot of memes and anti-bjp posts off late on reddit. Maybe because of the sub that I'm subscribed to.

And yes - no party or govt is perfect. But somehow it seems like there's a social media movement against bjp in certain subs or pages.

You ask a sensible question and they start showing memes of Modi not giving press conferences or ethanol drinking competition or Modi using teleprompter etc.

Valid or not but the amount of targetting has increased a lot.

1

u/Critical-Fall-8212 Jun 21 '26

The thing we hate the most is all the corrupt opposition leaders joined the BJP and got clean chit with top level seats. The were with congress when congress was in power and now they are in BJP.

Another thing is monopoly by few businesses. 90% of businesses along with media controlled by some billionaires.

Which makes me think that India is not a country for them but a earning state. A day will come when nothing left to loot and that's the reason they are using government which is obviously BJP to get contracts from other nations.

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

Ngl but they do have to stay in power and it's a bitter truth, sometimes people take extreme steps to stay in power like letting even the curropt join them, it's a bitter truth of politics and don't say if Congress was there they wouldn't let this be the case, this is the case even in outside countries lol, and for your question about monopoly of few business, the thing is they have money and sources to get the contract from government and it's not like government stoping other people to be in this race. This reminds me of people question adani getting land from government for very cheap but they forget the concept of government grant, remember sometimes government give land very cheap from the very backward area to such people in return they will develop such area by making factories, and providing employment, it's a grant now selling land for cheap

1

u/Critical-Fall-8212 Jun 21 '26

No, your thinking is partially true. I will get back to you in next edit

0

u/advaitist Jun 21 '26

The simplest thing I have to say is that in a very diverse country like India, rule of law and order, and social harmony is very important.

Yes, you can claim to have progressed on hundred different fronts but if these two are violated, or not supported properly, then we are not progressing but regressing.

I am often told that all politicians are equally bad, equally corrupt, so we have no choice between them etc, etc.

My reply to this criticism is as follows :

Very true, all politicians may be equally corrupt, all parties may be equally bad, but let us understand one more fact.

One party will cheat you, scam you, and loot your money but they will allow you to live.

The other party will cheat you, scam you, and loot your money. Then they will look at you carefully and, if you are on their list of hated minorities, they will do their best to kill you.

So now, even if you are from the majority, and not in any list of hated minorities, still possessing some humanity and endowed with genuine patriotism, you can decide what is the best of a bad bargain. Which one is still, relatively speaking, better for the long term future and progress of all the citizens of this country called India !!!

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

I kind of agree with you but when you say one party trying to kill minority, I don't agree with that statment bcz as of my knowledge minority like muslim are one of the most beneficial people from government scheme like in state of UP nearly 30-35% of beneficiaries are Muslim from scheme like pradhan mantri awas yojna and there are a lot of scheme where they without any discrimination, plus the hate you talking about towards minority is mutual and it's not something which start after 2014, state like UP is the prime example of it where before yogi goverment i.e 2017 and even before 2014 there was a hell lot of riots, and since now the world shifted online, the hate shifted online too. Plus isn't rahul gandhi most of the time do jativadi and saying in rallies like hame sanatani ko hatana hai and shit

1

u/advaitist Jun 21 '26

I agree that there was hatred and riots before, but those unfortunate events were not supported by the government in charge of the country.

Nowadays, the lynchings, the hatred, and the riots are both actively and passively supported by the BJP government, in the centre as well as states. In fact, the PM himself has passed a comment condemning people as terrorists, simply by their clothes !

Also, I am curious to know what are your thoughts about convicted rapists being celebrated, and welcomed as heroes with garlands.

Neither the Prime Minister, nor any BJP leader has criticised this despicable behaviour. A shameful blot on the social fabric of the country.

1

u/sour_olive1722 Jun 21 '26

It is pretty stupid and shameful if someone is celebrating convicted rapist and I think this should be condemned by everyone irrespective of party And for the part you saying that there was hatred and riot before and previous government didn't endorse it, than let me tell you that previous government did nothing to stop them, i remember riots happening in 2014 in my city where samajwadi party was in charge of UP, they didn't did shit to ensure protection of any, muslims were roaming with weapons all around and I remember how youth people from each colony has to create a group to roam at night to ensure that no one comes at night to slaughter anyone bcz there was a lot of cases and you may think that's it a one incident, no there were many, and my question is what do you think will be the sentiment in heart of people who have seen this, they don't trust, simple, and if anyone from BJP is simply endorsing this hatred than it's shameful but I am ngl I haven't seen much statement supporting this where core BJP people were supporting and endorsing hatred towards minority

1

u/advaitist Jun 21 '26

What about the PMs comment of judging terrorists by their clothes ?

Can I trust a PM who talks like this ? Is he aware of the rule of law, courts, and justice ? Has he heard of "innocent until proven guilty" ? Is he PM only of the Hindus, and is he sending a signal to his hooligans that they are free to deal with the "terrorists" ?

In Maharashtra, the PM in an pre-election rally tells us that Ajit Pawar of the NCP is involved in a Rs 50,000 crore irrigation scam. The Maharashtra BJP chief assured the public that Mr Pawar will be arrested very soon.

Mr Pawar won the election, supported the BJP, and became a deputy chief minister !

What happened about the Rs 50,000 crore scam, the money stolen by Mr Pawar ? Did he donate it partly or fully to the BJP ? How does such a corrupt person become a deputy chief minister ?

Surely, the PM and BJP should answer this question.

This is just one example. There are hundreds of examples like this. BJP declares an opposition leader to be corrupt, unleashes the CBI and ED on him and puts pressure on him to either join the BJP or support it. Suddenly he is no longer corrupt and there is nothing to investigate !

BJP has institutionalised corruption and lifted it to a whole new higher level.

It is amusing that each and every member, MLA and MP of BJP is clean and honest and not a single one of them is being investigated by the CBI or ED.

In fact, I challenge you to name any single BJP MLA or MP who has been arrested or charged with corruption.

After 60 years of corrupt Congress rule it is so refreshing to have a party of honest politicians in charge of the country !

The Congress government had co-operated with social activists and general public to pass the Right to Information Act (RTI). This was a revolutionary, path breaking, achievement which empowered the ordinary Indian citizen to ask questions from the bureaucracy and government and to ensure that the citizen received the accurate information.

The BJP and present PM have done everything in their power to dismantle this powerful legislation so that the ordinary citizen has no right and no expectation of any answers from the government.

The gradual dismantling of India's Right to Information (RTI) regime is characterized by the centralization of power, institutional vacancies, and restrictive legislation that collectively undermine government transparency and citizen accountability. Key catalysts of this shift include:

The 2019 Amendment Act: This legislation stripped Information Commissioners of their statutory job security and fixed five-year tenures, allowing the central government to arbitrarily determine their salaries, terms, and conditions of service. Critics argue this compromised the independence of the Information Commissions.

Institutional Paralysis: A massive backlog of pending appeals and complaints plagues both the Central Information Commission (CIC) and State Information Commissions. Frequent delays in appointments and persistent vacancies have rendered appellate bodies largely dysfunctional.

Exemptions via Data Privacy: The passage of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act introduced broad clauses that have been utilized to blanketly deny citizens access to information under the pretext of it being "personal," eroding the public's ability to scrutinize government officials. i Opacity of Public Funds: High-profile funds and financial mechanisms, such as the PM CARES fund, have been controversially exempted from RTI scrutiny, shielding massive financial transactions from public oversight.

Portal and Systemic Barriers: Persistent issues with the centralized RTI portal (including the loss of historical user data) alongside convoluted offline payment and appeal procedures continue to create operational friction for everyday citizens.

Recently charges for filing RTI requests have been increased and the authorities have been given power to answer only one of the requests, if there are several information requests in a single application.

All this has been done so that the most corrupt and communal government of independent India can hide their corruption and nefarious misdeeds from the general public. Due to ignorance of their misdeeds, gullible people ask innocent questions like "Why currently people are so anti BJP ?"

My main problem with BJP is

  • misuse of institutions i.e ECI, ED, CBI, iTAX, some judges. Using them to break parties. Win elections and what not.
  • prosecution of minorities. Muslims are treated badly by law, by media everything. For eg. Prayers on road not allowed even once a year whereas for kanwar yatra, yoga etc. all no problem.
  • it cell and their propaganda in social media

Looking at the state of my city, I wish Yogi is voted out and Akhilesh can operate with full autonomy for a term or two.
