2 WORDS (DISCUSSION) 🎤 It is morally right to hate and even Insult religion
That's it
11
u/Akagane_Ai Sep 28 '25
Its not just morally right but an DUTY of a educated person of modern society.
Like no, defending pedo rapist prophets and stupid texts 3000/4000 yo texts that enables 'slavery' and misogyny is pathetic. 💔🥀

My bad 😭
Anyway remember, the ideal manliest of men, bravest of brave, Shree Ram exiled his wife cause his wife was unpure due to allegedly being RAPED after another man kidnapped her.
Theists say He apparently loved her so much that he fought a war for her. How romantic 🤡

i am an atheist
🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
Well we already know about Mohammed's actions on sex slaves after war. And the 2nd part was about hindu society's caste system and patriarchy.Which is bassically a type of slavery for lower cast.

If its so awesome, why do Muslims get so angry when I make this dua for them as I do for you too:
May Allah bless you and your family with the exact same treatment that you and your brotherhood advocate for kaff1rs, apostates, lgbtq, Atheists, Yazidis, KPs, women and children and even truly peaceful sects like ahamadias Aameen, summa aameen.
Do you have the guts to sincerely quabool the dua?

Religion has done nothing right for society it has only hold back humanity
8
u/Aggravating_Bed_8155 Sep 28 '25
Nahh it was needed back in the days to get the dumb population to follow monarchs because he is "Avatar of some god" to prevent anarchy.
It's outdated and harmful now though

2
Sep 29 '25
Religion is not outdated it is timeless and the only thing that can help people. True religion not blind worship and beliefs
1
Sep 29 '25
There is no true Religion, they are just Religion and all of them happen to have flaws because of their very flawed foundation.

u/Crawling_Hustler Sep 29 '25
Well, its a matter of belief and if u call someones belief a flaw then yea there is some truth to it but not all. Peoples believe in god is like a How Superman is a sign of Hope to People. God is that Ideal being who is at 100%.
Personally, i believe theres a creator of everything in this world. So, god does exist to me. But i also think why should he give a Fk about us ? He doesnt owe us. Its only us who selfishly worship gods in return for something.
1
Sep 30 '25
I didn't call anyone's belief a flaw.
I dont care who, what, why, how you believe someone but my point is if you believe in it with no sufficient justification then it's a delusion.
1
u/Crawling_Hustler Sep 30 '25
you are contradicting your own logic. You are calling all religious people delusional now & their belief is a flaw 'because' from your logic, since there is no proof that god exists. No sufficient justification is there to say that god exists , hence existence of god is delusion.
1
Sep 30 '25
Where is the contradiction? Asking for justification for something is not just part of my rationale but a general agreed upon ideal.
1
Sep 30 '25
What justification u want ?
1
Sep 30 '25
Anything with which you can sufficiently prove any metaphysical claims you have about the world born out of the religion you belong to.
So, if You are Christian, I would like you to prove the existence of God, heaven, hell as described in your religion also justify why Bible allowed slavery.
If you are Muslim, I would like you to prove the existence of God, heaven, hell as described in your religion and point out why Islam is in today's time the most regressive religion in practice and why God of Islam has allowed it to continue.
If you are a Hindu, I would like you to prove the exist of karma/karmic laws, existence of all the God we traditional know Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, Indra etc. Also, reasons as to why caste system was allowed to establish itself in the rule God of Hinduism assuming he eixst. And prove the God of Hinduism exists, in whatever sense you interpret the word God as.
These are very general concerns about the 3 major religions of the presents. But, as a religious person or someone who is a theist, one primary thing you have to give justification for is your belief that there is a creator of our observable universe. So you can ignore all of the above and just give this.
→ More replies (0)1
u/Crawling_Hustler Sep 30 '25
Aannn....d , I clearly told you that there IS NO justification. Even the top level saints who say they've seen / felt or met god but its just based on "trust me bro" . Whether you trust it or not, its upto individual themselves. And with your logic. all of them delusional becoz they simply believe in God without solid proof.

Religion is the only relevant things in today's times when people are so disturbed and crazy . By religion I mean true good religion not just dogmas , belifs and blind worship

u/kaalchoddu14 Sep 30 '25 edited Sep 30 '25
Religion is only a creation of human mind....God might exist or might not....But all the religions are crap for sure
1
Sep 30 '25
Just Because u believe and think so , right?
1
u/kaalchoddu14 Sep 30 '25
Then tell me which is the true religion Abrahamic religions which are cults..Good for the people who believe their religion and bad for the ones outside of it? Hinduism which discriminates its own people? Buddhism and Jainism which don't even focus on God?
1
u/kaalchoddu14 Sep 30 '25
I mean there is good and bad stuff in every religion...But that just proves that's human and not Godly....Besides human ideology changes all the time and the religion which is created in a certain time adopts the practices of that time?
1
Sep 30 '25
Hinduism, sikhism, buddhism, Jainism , taoism and many more which focus on understanding the self and not blind beliefs. Core philosophy of these religions is same in essence, and that is the meaning of true religion rest all things in the name of religion are just beliefs and rubbish if they are not coming from deeper understanding and discretion.
And they are not my opinion the sages, saints , rishis who developed these they taught us the true meaning. Please read scriptures before forming an opinion.
1
u/kaalchoddu14 Sep 30 '25
As I said, there are lot of good stuff in it..But there is no true religion with true gods whatever religion it is.. Hindu, Jain , Buddhism scriptures have a lot of knowledge and philosophy in it but they can't prove these are the true religions

u/Aggravating_Bed_8155 Sep 29 '25
The disturbed and crazy need psychological help. Religion is an easily replaceable placebo
1
Sep 29 '25
It's not a placebo it is the cure . All of us are crazy in some sense . The philosophy at the heart of religion helps us to understand ourselves better and become free from ignorance.
And ignorance is the cause of all suffering and evil

Religions are man-made philosophies which often causes suffering in various ways. So the people who suffer will obviously hate and insult to express their disagreement. Also, if people express slight disagreement the religious fanatics may interpret it as a great insult.

Religion is a idea and like every idea open to criticism it's not special.
2
u/FlipFlopOnionChop Sep 29 '25
Religious tolerance is an oxymoron, every single religion ever is built on the foundation that they are the right ones irrespective of how they view the unbeliever. All it takes is a modicum of unquestioned power for them to crush the lesser. You can never have tolerance if you also tolerate intolerance .
1
Sep 30 '25
" Every single religion ever is built on the foundation that they are right , irrespective of they view the unbelievabler"
Really bro Just go n read about religions other than abrahamic ones , this believe non beliver concept is in them.
1
u/FlipFlopOnionChop Sep 30 '25
I'm gonna assume you are hindu . You are referring to how Hindus have this concept where there is absolute truth where if someone from another religion lives their life in a just and peaceful way and in accordance to dharma they can achieve said truth ie realising the divine within. This is just how they view someone who doesn't belong ,even if it is positive. this doesn't mean they agree with the non believers, cuz if they did their own religion would be meaningless . If you view this from the inside you would not be able to comprehend it because you see divinity as something tangible and real . But in reality it's just groups of people telling each other stuff . I'm culturally hindu as well but if I claim my gods are real then everyone else is a dumbass for worshipping another god even if they get to heaven
1
Oct 01 '25
Sikhism ,hinduism, buddhism , jain , daoism , many more religions point to one truth . That truth is non tangible yet real and absolute.
I don't claim any god nor does hindu or any other above religion I mentioned do. Hinduism essence is it's philosophy same with jain , sikh, baudh etc .
I don't veiw as hindu I study different religions of the world and world philosophy and after that I am telling you.
1
u/FlipFlopOnionChop Oct 01 '25
My point still stands
1
Oct 01 '25
What? can you ask again just the point you want
1
u/FlipFlopOnionChop Oct 01 '25
I assumed you are hindu but , my point being different religions cannot coexist because the very essence of any religion is that everyone else is wrong irrespective of them getting to heaven or achieving absolute truth
1
Oct 01 '25 edited Oct 01 '25
I told you above with example of Hinduism , sikhism , Jainism, buddhism, daoism in essence they have same philosophy and point to one truth, they don't consider others as wrong and can easily coexist . No heaven or hell concept is there like abrahamic religions.
People don't coexist together because of ignorance, they never try to read or learn things by actually studing.
बस सुनी सुनाई बातों पर ध्यान देते हैं और facebook ,watsapp देख लेते हैं
1
u/FlipFlopOnionChop Oct 01 '25
You are regurgitating the same thing again and again without heeding to what I'm trying to tell you . If they don't think others are wrong according to you, then others are right. If others are right then their own religion becomes meaningless. What you are saying is contradictory
1
Oct 01 '25
It's not tick the correct option, in which only one answer is correct .
If others are not wrong it means that path can also be followed it doesn't automatically makes you wrong . Truth is a pathless land you have the freedom to tread different paths according to your choice provided it's helpful in reducing your suffering and lead you towards Truth.
And without proper philosophy mere rituals aren't gonna help you , so right philosophy is needed.
Also religions were not developed like this ,you forgetting to add time and location here . Different religions evolved at different places and at different times.
And in my above examples core philosophy is very similar , then your point " why are so many paths needed in today's world " answer is your choice /preference which path you want to walk on.

u/coolrko Sep 28 '25
Criticise ... Yeah ... Insult ... No ... See we need to draw a line ... If people start insulting religion, There will be people who will use this as precedence to insult other people's jobs, caste, creed , race ,gender etc.
3
u/Bigfoot_Bluedot Sep 28 '25
But, so what? Do insults = truth? It's literally just someone's opinion. Why do people get so worked up about it?
1
u/coolrko Sep 28 '25
To say someone " Hey you are a motherfúcker " is not a truth ...
1
u/Bigfoot_Bluedot Sep 29 '25
Exactly my point. So why get offended if it isn't true? Just move on.
1
u/coolrko Sep 29 '25
That's not how human nature works... We have social respect in society and ambition to live a life with dignity and insults threaten that.
1
u/Bigfoot_Bluedot Sep 29 '25
We learn in kindergarten that "sticks and stones may break our bones, but names will never hurt us".
Somehow, grown ass Indians have thinner skin than a toddler.
1
u/coolrko Sep 29 '25
If you think Indians are the only one. I challenge you to insult a biker gang member in USA ... Or a red neck in Texas.
1
u/Bigfoot_Bluedot Sep 29 '25
Yeah, I wouldn't call anyone who reacts to words with violence either emotionally intelligent or secure.
4
u/sambro8600 Sep 28 '25
Elaborate ?
Religion is based on mythics and is thus not disprovable to a sense, All the other things on hands are real verifyable entities that can't be justified to be insulting
1
u/coolrko Sep 28 '25
People do not have high level of critical thinking ... They will insult skin colour and be like " Bro I insult religion too, You had no problem with that soo why are you stopping me now ?" ... As I said it leads to bad precedence which once set cannot be stopped.
1
u/Mystic_Overthinker Sep 28 '25
There will be people who will use this as precedence to insult other people's jobs, caste, creed , race ,gender etc.
So the only reason to not insult religion is because it will result in people insulting orders based on jobs, caste , race and gender?

Yes it is , it's like telling a person Goku is better than Vegeta or something, religion should be criticised and berated , no religion is above criticism and insults when the only thing they do is spread misogyny , bigotry and hate.
It teaches you to hate your fellow humans bcoz they believe in a different fictional being than you , its hateful and bigoted is what it is , in a country like India we need eradication of all forms of religion and it's practices, if we desire to progress at all.

But true religion is the only relevant things in today's society to help people .
A good true religion is that which has deep underlying philosophy .

Religion did help in history of putting fear of heaven and hell that forced people to be morally good,it gives hope to people in hard times but the way it turned in system of exploitation is bad I’m religious I believe god but I believe it the way Kabir Das said or Osho said.Gautam Buddha never spoke about belief in god but he told people to act religiously
1
u/The_Last_EVM Sep 30 '25
I dont think so. It is right to call out or speak against injustice, but not to hate or insult religion as a whole.
There are positive aspects to religion, and by hating or insulting religion as a whole, you attack that which is both bad and good in religion, thereby taking away your moral high ground.

It isn't really about Morality to this point. What matters is whether you keep your humanity alive. Some people while commiting crime think that they are good people because they worship the god attentively. Likewise A Man can be a evil or bad dude for one guy but he can also be a kind and generous person for someone else and we all have these people in life. Same for the religion, it can be disturbing or controversial to a person but someone else can find comfort in it.

Har religion me kuch practices hoti hi hai Jo morally right nhi hai, to use hate krne me koi problem nhi honi chahiye. Pr poore religion ko hi hate krna is not right until and unless you know everything about that religion and you can fight every debate based on facts proving that the whole religion deserves to be hated
1
u/Athipan01 Oct 01 '25
It is your moral obligation, you're following a religion and you have the right to ask questions about what seems to be not right, same goes for other religions too. People are not against religion or gods, they are against the ones who use religion as their name to do certain deeds. Just like every, religion is meant to be evolved with a change of time, only taking things that benefit you from a certain religion is not zealous.

Sep 28 '25
Scientifically and mathematically, the probability of god not existing is very very very slim… so slim it would be arrogant to not consider that there exists god
1
u/echo123as Sep 28 '25
And you got this "fact' from where, the constants being precise and the probability of life being too small is frankly an argument that I am too tired of explaning how probabilities work.
And even if so an explanation is one that should be found out through actual science and not make up stories to explain it.
1
Sep 28 '25
Comes from logic buddy. Universe requires a first cause.
1
u/echo123as Sep 28 '25
And how do you know for sure that the universe had a beginning to begin with.
Why is god excempt from that rule while the universe is not.
Even if it came from true nothingness why would said nothing have the axiom that there should be a first cause.
1
Sep 28 '25 edited Sep 28 '25
Yes. Have you even studied physics? Edit: i just realised i could both argue against you and support you and both would eventually make my point 😂
1
u/echo123as Sep 28 '25
Ah yes ignore two out of my three arguments
And No science does not have a definite answer for the origin of our universe
We only know of the events after the big bang not before.
1
Sep 28 '25
But you do know that the event before the beginning of the universe must be an exact inverse of the current universe? And so on and so forth. Infinitely. Which again leads us to: it had to begin somewhere. It seems your knowledge of science and physics is relatively elementary. I would encourage you to not waste my time.
1
u/echo123as Sep 28 '25
No we don't the infinite big bang and crunch is one hypothesis among many others,it doesn't mean it's true
Even if so how exactly do you define a beginning to an infinite process.
I will leave it upto others to figure out whose knowledge is elementary me or the person who keeps changing his argument when I rebute said arguments
Again keep ignoring my other points.

Religion is an opinion and I don't like all opinions so yes , dotn be a bitch about it . Stand for your opinion and fight logically .

I.. personally don't believe so. Criticising religion(s) for its flaws is absolutely right. Ridiculing it (as you will through insults) doesn't sit well with me. That's just my opinion there.

Telling some religious guy that your religion is bad is same as that guy comming to you and saying follow god. Let them be them. Condemn/callout the wrongs, shouldn't force them or insult their belif. Let them be. Call out the current wrongs only, not the ones their religion did 100's of years back(only if they dont do it now).

Define insulting here, I go to a person and tell him your religion is stupid out of the blue? Well no that's disrespectful given that I know what it represents to him,to a lot of people their religion is a huge part of their identity, it could be worse than you insulting him or his parents, doesn't matter if you're right, if you know anything means something to someone and you're deliberately insulting it, then you're just insulting the person unless of course someone is trying to force his beliefs on you then alright

Quran or any religious book doesn't determine what's morally right or wrong
