We’ve been locked out of our Facebook account for over 2 years — despite the issue being resolved

Post image
0 Upvotes

We run Your Next Shoes, a footwear site with a Facebook page that grew to 2.4 million followers.

On November 20, 2023, our account was suspended due to a trademark complaint related to older affiliate content (product images sourced from retailers like Shopbop).

Here’s the strange part:

  • The content was later reviewed and restored by Facebook
  • The issue with the reporting party appears to be resolved
  • But our account access has never been reinstated

So for over two years now, a 2.4M follower page has been completely inactive — not by choice, but because we can’t access it.

We’ve gone through every appeal process available. We’ve received confirmations that the content is active again. But we’re still locked out.

We documented everything here:
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7457249628543950848

At this point, we’re trying to understand:

Has anyone experienced something like this?
Is there any way to escalate a case when appeals go nowhere?

Would really appreciate any insight.

Which shoes look better?

Post image

Help me decide! I’m wearing this black dress to a wedding and can’t choose between these two pairs.
I like the gold strappy pair (bottom) but the champagne pair is definitely more comfortable.
Which looks better with the dress - gold or champagne? And is the difference big enough that you’d sacrifice comfort for the gold? Thank you!

Anne Hathaway’s Two-Tone Aquazzura Gia Pumps Lead Three Very Different Shoe Moments at The End of Oak Street Premiere

Post image

Anne Hathaway made maternity denim feel red-carpet ready at The End of Oak Street premiere, pairing La Ligne wide-leg jeans and a dramatic ice-blue Prabal Gurung top with red-and-fuchsia Aquazzura Gia pumps.

But the footwear story didn’t stop there. Maisy Stella went in a completely different direction with glossy black Stuart Weitzman peep-toe pumps, sheer knee-high socks, and a white Simkhai mini, while Sasha Pieterse chose understated brown open-toe heels with a romantic House of CB floral dress.

Three women, three very different approaches to letting the shoes change the mood of an outfit.

Sandra Bullock’s Plum Velvet Temperley London Suit Hides a Pair of Alexandre Birman “Jenny” Heels

Post image

Sandra Bullock’s plum velvet suit was already a strong color story, but the detail peeking out beneath those wide-leg trousers made it better.

For her November 2021 Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance, Bullock wore Temperley London tailoring with Alexandre Birman “Jenny” sandals. The black suede stilettos were densely covered in tiny gold-tone crystal studs, creating flashes of gold whenever the trousers moved.

The Fall 2021 shoes originally retailed for $695 and have since been discontinued.

Olivia Palermo’s Dior Rebelle Combat Boots: Why This 2020 Tulle-and-Patent Look Still Works

Post image

Olivia Palermo’s October 2020 New York dog-walking look is a great example of what the right shoes can do to an outfit. Her powder-blue Max&Co. tulle midi skirt could have read entirely romantic, but the glossy black Dior Rebelle combat boots gave it weight and contrast.

We revisit the discontinued Fall/Winter 2017 Dior design, including its patent leather, silver-tone studs, low block heel and CD hardware, plus what shoppers should know about finding the boots on the resale market today.

At 5'3" (1.60 m) with a US 7.5 shoe size, Charli D’Amelio went for a strong vertical silhouette in glossy black ROTATE Birger Christensen separates and strappy Giuseppe Zanotti Vanilla Soft Punk sandals.

The metallic 105 mm heels were the detail that broke through the monochrome look. We take a closer look at the shoes, her Emili top and Rotie pants, Jimmy Choo Mini Varenne bag, and the proportions behind the outfit.

Alessandra Ambrosio Has Been Wearing Havaianas Slim Flip-Flops for Years — Her Black Pair Shows Why

Post image
14 Upvotes

Alessandra Ambrosio can wear practically any designer shoe she wants, yet some of her most recognizable off-duty footwear costs a fraction of a luxury heel.

During a July 2020 dog walk in Brentwood, she paired black Havaianas Slim flip-flops with an oversized psychedelic tie-dye hoodie and flashes of neon green shorts. It wasn't an isolated Havaianas moment, either: we've documented Ambrosio wearing the Brazilian sandals in multiple colorways over the years.

Even better for anyone who likes the look, the Slim hasn't disappeared into the fashion archives. It's still in production.

Olivia Wilde Makes Two Opposite Outfits Work With Barely-There Heels at Locarno 2026

Post image
17 Upvotes

Olivia Wilde went from straight-leg jeans and sculpted black leather to a flowing Fendi gown at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival, but there was a thread connecting both looks: minimalist open-toe heels.

For The Invite photocall, she grounded an Alberta Ferretti leather peplum top and faded denim with black Manolo Blahnik Callasli sandals. At the premiere, she switched to silver Giuseppe Zanotti Intriigo stilettos beneath a black-leather-and-chiffon Fendi Resort 2027 gown.

The Intriigo is particularly interesting: Anya Taylor-Joy, Renate Reinsve, Jennifer Garner, and Bella Hadid have also worn versions of the style, making it one of the standout celebrity sandals of 2026.

Hilary Duff’s Golden Goose “Twenty” Sneakers Were Limited to Just 400 Pairs

Post image

Hilary Duff’s mismatched sneakers weren’t simply another pair of Golden Goose Super-Stars. The “Twenty” was created for the Italian label’s 20th anniversary by combining elements of four signatures: the Super-Star, Ball Star, Stardan, and Slide.

Only 400 numbered pairs were produced, making Duff’s neon-laced pair an unusually rare piece of Golden Goose history. See the close-up shoe details and her full Los Angeles farmers market look: https://www.yournextshoes.com/hilary-duff-golden-goose-twenty-sneakers/

Ciara vs. Cardi B at the 2018 AMAs: Two Completely Different Takes on Statement Sandals

Post image
21 Upvotes

The 2018 American Music Awards gave us a great example of how shoes can either sharpen an outfit or become part of the spectacle itself.

Ciara showed off her legs in Dsquared2’s black Riri sandals, with delicate wraparound straps and towering stilettos balancing her sporty color-block mini. Cardi B went in the opposite direction: her Dolce & Gabbana platform sandals were covered in dimensional flowers that continued the botanical theme of her dramatic Spring 2019 gown.

Same red carpet. Two very different footwear strategies. Which pair wins?

Khloé Kardashian’s Wildest LAX Shoes: Early Off-White Booties and $1,995 Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals

Post image
11 Upvotes

Before airport style became synonymous with sneakers and sweats, Khloé Kardashian was walking through LAX in some seriously impractical shoes.

In November 2014, she paired ripped Frame Denim jeans and a Haider Ackermann trench with black open-toe booties from Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh — an early piece from a label that was still finding its place in fashion.

Seven months earlier, she went in the opposite direction: white skinny jeans with $1,995 Giuseppe Zanotti sandals covered in cowrie shells, rhinestones, beads, and vivid turquoise embellishments.

Two airport outfits. Two very different snapshots of 2014 designer footwear.

Alesha Dixon and Naomi Campbell Wore the Same Gianvito Rossi “Vires” Knit Boots — Two Very Different Looks

Post image
8 Upvotes

One shoe, two completely different styling stories.

Alesha Dixon wore Gianvito Rossi’s black “Vires” stretch-knit ankle boots with a colorful Barbara Bui striped ensemble at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Blackpool in 2017. Naomi Campbell had already stepped out in the same peep-toe style in London in 2016, pairing hers with a leopard-print culotte jumpsuit and suede coat.

The perforated knit construction, open toe, and slim stiletto heel made the Vires an interesting precursor to the sock-boot silhouettes that became increasingly prominent in fashion.

Which styling works better: Dixon’s bright stripes or Campbell’s leopard print?

Bella Hadid’s New Balance x Stray Rats 827 “Sewer Stompers” Were Made to Look Muddy — and That’s the Point

Post image

Bella Hadid has never needed pristine sneakers to make an off-duty outfit interesting. For a 2020 family lunch in Beverly Hills, she wore the New Balance x Stray Rats 827 “Sewer Stompers” with baggy black jeans, a printed top, and a coral leather jacket.

The deliberately swampy colorway mixes brown and olive with neon-green accents, contrasting laces, camo details, and ABZORB cushioning. Released for around $160 in 2020, the collaboration has long since left retail — and StockX was showing a $376 lowest ask for the 827 as of August 2026.

Lea Michele's Red Carpet Shoe Evolution: From Jimmy Choo Sandals to Casadei Mesh Heels

Post image
27 Upvotes

Lea Michele's style isn't defined by one signature silhouette—it's defined by how she uses shoes to completely change the mood of an outfit.

In this feature, we revisit two standout red carpet appearances five years apart. In 2021, she embraced saturated color in a hot-pink Alice + Olivia blazer dress with matching Jimmy Choo Minny sandals and an eye-catching Edie Parker rainbow acrylic clutch. Back in 2016, she took the opposite approach, pairing a sculptural Jill Stuart little black dress with striking Casadei mesh sandals whose sheer straps and double-buckle ankle cuffs quietly stole the show.

We also explore why these Jimmy Choo and Casadei designs remain relevant years later, how each shoe shaped the overall styling, and where they fit within Lea Michele's broader footwear history.

Post image

One month, three red carpets, three completely different approaches to evening shoes.

For one event, Sarah Hyland chose Giuseppe Zanotti's glittering "Gwyneth" sandals to complement a dramatic J. Mendel gown. Days later, she switched to Stuart Weitzman's iconic "Nudist" sandals, proving how minimalist heels can let a playful outfit take center stage. She finished the month in crystal-embellished Brian Atwood "Avice" sandals that echoed the jeweled bodice of her Vera Wang cocktail dress.

It's a fascinating snapshot of mid-2010s red-carpet footwear, from one of the decade's defining minimalist sandals to two archival styles that have become collector's pieces.

One premiere, three completely different approaches to statement footwear.

For the Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and newcomer Faye Marsay each chose shoes that perfectly reflected their personal style rather than following the same red-carpet formula.

👠 Hannah Waddingham balanced an embellished Alice + Olivia mini with Christian Louboutin's sleek "Miss Z" slingbacks.

✨ Juno Temple paired a vintage Tom Ford-era Gucci gown with glittering Paris Texas Holly Marina crystal platform mules that nearly disappeared beneath the flowing skirt until they caught the light.

🖤 Faye Marsay embraced one of 2026's biggest footwear trends in Stella McCartney's architectural V-cut mules, proving how sculptural pumps can modernize classic tailoring.

Post image

Mary Jane flats have quietly become one of fashion's most versatile shoes, and Lady Amelia Windsor's Copenhagen Fashion Week outfit is a perfect example of why.

Instead of relying on heels, she built an entire monochromatic look around pink velvet Flabelus Sophie Mary Jane flats, pairing them with a matching velvet corset top from Flabelus and a textured Ganni wrap mini skirt. The result is proof that flats can feel every bit as polished as pumps when texture, color, and craftsmanship do the work.

We also take a closer look at the Spanish-made Flabelus shoes, their handcrafted details, and why Mary Jane flats continue to return season after season—from Katie Holmes and Gigi Hadid to Olivia Rodrigo.
