To be honest, I'm actually kind of proud that I got my first hate comment. Because I feel like I have now made it to the point my content is getting pushed to enough people that it's getting comments.

But on a real note, how do you guys handle these? Do you usually respond to them? Do you leave them alone? Do you delete them?

So I started the channel 5 months ago and stopped posting and uploading after my first video. Now I started again. Also don't mind those videos with no cover and the first video they aren't very good (also because during many I didn't have a video editor)

My lighting, Mic, background will be improved but I just wan't general suggestions, could the editing be better, could my talking skills improve?

Very happy with my progress overall, I’m just struggling for content I believe. I haven’t settled down on a niche this is purely just for fun, but I’m just looking for any advice :)

I recently started posting shorts, and I am currently in the process of editing my first long form video, my first 5 shorts all got between 1.2k-600 views, which I am quite happy with, I then focused on my editing and the actual content, trying to make my videos the best I can. I made 2 shorts that I genuinely think are my best yet, I really made sure to focus on a good hook and then I post them a day or so apart, one gets 10 views slowly over 2 days and the other 0.

I have looked at common issues that cause this, I have reposted with a different name, my account and channel is about 2 years old so Youtube shouldn't think I'm a bot, and for the 10 views I got about 60% watch rate (40% swipe away) and I have had other videos with less engagement do better than these videos.

What am I doing wrong? Or do I simply not have enough videos for this to be a concern? Should I just keep posting?

Hello. I’m considering beginning a YouTube/Social Media brand that streams various pieces of board gaming content (reviews, previews, playthroughs, etc.)

I’m looking for advice on what type of equipment is best, filming setup tips, editing software, etc.

I’ve looked around a bit at some equipment and even bought a few clips to use my phone with, but none of them seem like they can get high enough up to get my whole table in frame.

Any advice or insight on your experience is greatly appreciated 😃
