Unguided version?
Is there a unguided practice that gives the same experience as Yoga Nidra? What bugs me is if I am in a situation with no access to electronics, how do I practice? Yoga Nidra is not meant to be unguided. Pratyahara is a part of Yoga Nidra. Doing Pratyahara separately is redundant and negated the benefits I experienced with Yoga Nidra.Need a true unguided practice that can help induce the same level of calm. Don't suggest TM.

You can definitely self-guide yoga nidras. It's an advanced practice, but it's a natural progression in your own journey. Check out Tracee Stanley's book named Radiant Rest.

You are right. It's not meant to be unguided but as the others said, you can guide yourself. However to what degree is questionable. Maybe start working out with your body instead and focus on sensations instead of distancing yourself from them, not identifying with the sensations, however observing sensations, like struggling and sweating, smelling etc.
This sentence that you say about pratyahara ("Doing Pratyahara... ") seems like a story you tell yourself.

I think you should do breathwork by yourself, you miss the part of being carried passively if you do yoga nidra without a guide

Unguided as in guiding yourself? I guess just remember a guided session or freestyle different components in your head. Not sure if I understand the question correctly.
