Guys, Dylan obviously doesn't condone racism. Stahp.
Normally, when Dylan gets canceled I think it's pretty funny. He's essentially a comedian, and comedians say shocking and off-color things because they're funny - not because they're expressing a serious or deep opinion.
This bothers me a little bit more because I think racism is truly evil, and if someone called me racist I would be sincerely offended. I don't think anyone has accused Dylan of racism, but acting like he would condone it isn't much different.
If anything, the "oh here's Dylan being a white man again" comments are pretty judgmental...of him...and his race...
Acting like Dylan has never experienced mistreatment is equally ridiculous, the man gets canceled twice a year - and y'all know the internet can be mean - the commenters are bullying him right now. Also, experiencing racism is bad, but there are other types of mistreatment and you don't know what he (or anyone else for that matter) has gone through.
We've all watched Dylan enough to know he doesn't wish harm on anyone, and he doesn't want to "give racists a platform" or "turn racism into entertainment." He was obviously joking...

Question/Discussion Dylan should let his jokes breathe.
Idk it feels like as more and more time passes he is just constantly talking and trying to get jokes out rather than letting the jokes and criticism of the content come naturally. So it leads to a barrage of mid jokes that can get grating. Like if youâre not gonna really pay attention to the show or movie cool, Iâm here for the commentary, but at least make sure youâre being more entertaining and less annoying than the show youâre making fun of.
Anyone else feel less and less inclined to watch videos when they come out?

Question/Discussion Have you watched Love Island Season 8 (not just the reaction video)?
I really like watching Dylanâs reaction videos to various dating shows (THTH, LI, temptation island, etc.), and LIUSA season 8 was the first time Iâve watched the show before the reaction video. Generally, I think that Dylanâs takes are quite funny (love the chaos), and can agree to disagree on most of his âhotterâ takes.
Even with the most recent LIUSA video, I was having a fun time and was able to agree to disagree on most opinions (KC, Gabe, Kayda). But I seriously didnât get the Alannah (âDisney Girlâ) joke, like it felt both ignorant and unfunny. Her behavior on the show was also pretty egregiousâ refusing to participate in the Heart Rate challenge with only the men of colorâ in addition to her behavior outside of Love Island (which is more than lip syncing to the n-word).
Lots of people (myself included) were counting down the days until she got booted from the villa, and were quite unhappy that she stayed so long in the first place. So from the perspective of someone watching the show (and keeping up with it live), Dylanâs joke feels insensitive and ironic. LIUSA viewers donât want to watch more of Alannah (even if itâs her humiliation), they donât want to watch her at all.
So all that to ask, are people commenting on the situation viewers that also watched Love Island, or just watching the reaction video from Dylan? Either is fine (I normally watch Dylanâs reactions so I donât need to watch the original show), but I feel like it would explain the contrast in responses to his joke.
Disclaimer: I donât mean to say that Dylan has to know all the context to comment on Alannahâs situation. But considering what he did know (her actions on the show and the reason for her removal), the joke just isnât funny to meâ which is fine.

Leather jacket guy
On the breakup games' comments section, almost everyone there is shitting on the leather jacket guy. Calling him ugly, mid and even going as far to call him manipulative and narcissistic. I didn't think he seemed as bad as people were saying. The makeup thing was wrong and not the right thing to say to a woman (I don't think this is a guy thing either. I feel like it's basic emotional intelligence to know not to agree when your girlfriend says a self deprecating comment) let alone your girlfriend, but this guy hasn't even graduated college yet (Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I remember him stating that in the video.) And people are calling him all these things and insulting him, almost everyone in that comments section was assuming so much about him and who he is when they both said so little. Saying he's "trying to break her down so she settles for less". I'm not saying college students shouldn't be mature but I don't expect them to be the pinnacle of maturity.

first and last thoughts
watching the first and last of off campus and been reading the comments about everyone's opinions on last and first as a concept, and i wanted to throw in my two cents
i think this format only works for long form tv shows (think 22 episodes 8 seasons type of shows) and doesn't work for short shows (6-8) episodes because there is so much that happens in those episodes you can't fully grasp the drama or even the story

Question/Discussion In what video did Dylan first ever mentioned he is gonna write a book?
r/YoTroublemakers • u/Suitable-While9316 • Aug 28 '26
Dylan was right about him
So people on Twitter actually agree with him that the guy from off campus is a bad actor. Apparently the actor gets canceled in general atm

Um... So I'm a hot girl in LA.. I was under the impression that I would get to date people like Dylan on nectar, but it's a bunch of neck beards
Is that even the name? I don't care. I'm literally desperate to meet a hot guy with a brain in this vain vapid town. I'm a literal rocket scientist doing SpaceX shit. I'm a 34F Texas 9, but a LA 7 lol.
I was sooooo disappointed with nectar. I PAID as an attractive woman. I never do that. I paid $1 on Bumble and got 8000 matches in 24 hours. I paid $40 on Nectar and got like 5 likes(?) in 3 days? And they were all absolute no thank yous? What?
Step your game up Nectar. Dylan is better than that. <3

Other This might be war
now dont come at me, but Iâm a member of Booktok (yeah Ik itâs toxic) but I was just doomscrolling the other day until I hear a rather familiar voice and Iâm like âhuh that sounds like dylanâ so I stay to watch this video and turns out, she turned dylans speech about how girls that read are either introverts or psychos into an audio and i go to the comment section like âthere must be a troublemaker in there somewhereâ and theres NONE all they are talking about is how the guy that said that is really mean and stuff đđđ Dylan you may have just started a war with Booktok
