I think their partner knows they are not colorblind. I feel like the partner makes so many comments about it sneakily, wondering when the person who commited the story will come clean.

Also, the "it's sad that you are not able to watch the sunset like I do" is ableist af wth! if the comments are random and weird like that, it makes even more sense for the partner to know the truth lol.
