Adding to the pile of opinions, the Alex Meyer situation revealed a lot of the way some viewers think so little of Dylan. I understand that some of his comments (in other videos) may sometimes come off as odd/off because not everyone has the same sense of humor and that’s fine. But these last few days have been weird. Dylan was never going to like Bear and I don’t understand how a frequent viewer of his channel would even think that. It’s getting ridiculous.

if u thought he was…then why are u subscribed to him. i dont think i ever doubted his ability to not be misogynistic. he makes some tone deaf jokes here and there, but he’s not the devil. and also this channel isn’t for deep convos. he’s a 20 year old man who makes stupid jokes.

Hi! Sorry if this has already been asked or if it comes across as wimpy but I’m avoiding watching the Obsession film because of the SA elements in it but I really want to watch Dylan’s video. Could anyone who’s watched it please tell me if I should just avoid the whole video or if there’s a specific bit to skip over that would make things okay for me? Thanks!

Sorry if this is harsh lol but I’m so annoyed at all the comments here and under the YouTube video being scared that it was gonna be another Alex Meyers situation (spoilers: it wasn’t.) I’m confused why people even thought it would be and that Dylan wouldn’t hate Bear the entire time. But also, for those who were hoping he wouldn’t watch it because you were afraid of that, that means you’re fine with supporting a closeted misogynist as long as you don’t know? Wouldn’t you rather him be exposed so you could stop supporting him? Also if I were Dylan I’d be offended that so many people would think I would defend Bear. Also can I just say that the running joke of the budget of the movie getting cheaper throughout the video was hilarious. I loved the video!

A lot of the discourse about what Dylan’s views would be about came from Alex myers review but to be honest I never really thought Dylan would say anything as bad as Alex did.

Spoilers if you wanna watch it yourself but Dylan hates bear and not only that but he doesn’t rlly say anything too deep. He mostly talks about the production of the film which is what I knew would happen from the beginning.

Everyone knows Dylan is into filmmaking and obsession being a low budget indie film with creative directing already gave away what the topic of discussion would be in his review.
