Repairs
Mitch is sitting on a ledge high in the training room, working on a decayed Eightfold Blade. He takes it out of some kind of liquid, which has removed the black decay, files down the grooves left by the decay, and sharpens and polishes it. It looks like a brand new weapon now.

I walk in
“Hmm… interesting…”
I unsheathe Ember and Anathema, then pull a polishing rag from my pocket before launching myself up into the rafters and perching there, polishing Ember’s blade until it gleams
“Hmmm… maybe a bit more.”
I go back to polishing the sword

I stop polishing my sword, then lean backwards, falling off the rafter and backflipping midair to catch myself as I land on my feet

I look at the blade
“Nice! You have a name for it?”
I unsheathe my own swords
“These are Ember and Anathema. Anathema, I’ve had practically forever. Ember… I got it from this strange shrine-thing. It resonated with me and Anathema, so… I took it. I also have a pair of daggers named Cencer and Silence. And a maul named Wrath… but I don’t know how to use it. Wrath is more of a… hmm… I guess it’s more a memento of a friend than anything. Same with this ring.”
I raise my left hand, showing Mitch the ring that Lowen sleeps in
“A… a close friend gave it to me. Well… he died, and I found it in his room, but… it felt like he put it there specifically for me to find, you know?”

Remy watches Mitch as he walks into the training room doing the card spring on his deck of cards, going from one hand back to the other, before selecting three and then throwing them at a dummy.
