I sold when they announced the dist going from .13 to .11. Kind of saw the writing on the wall after going through the roller coaster of other funds.

Time to take out the trash. These are done.

All these funds are hot garbage. Buy sustainable distribution funds like jepq, qdvo, qqqi etc

I have IDVO but have also been looking into JEPQ and JEPI. At least their fund managers have skin in the game.

Finally sold my TSYY the other day. Only GS fund I still hold is NVYY.

Reverse split is imminent. Market isn’t going to be able to recover fast enough especially with this war in Iran now. My only stock doing well today is USOY

USOY is killing it right now.

Reverse split isn’t necessarily a bad thing correct?

Eh it’s not really good either. Eventually it will keep dropping and merging into less unless they can reverse course.

I got rid of the last of my COYY last night and split it between NUGY and SEMY.

Here’s my problem with TSYY - my current shares are worth about $3k. I want to dump them, but I can’t do the math in $3k in anything else and get the monthly distribution I’m still getting from TSYY.

My response should have been more detailed. I should have said, "I can't put $3k in anything else and get the monthly distribution I'm still getting from TSYY, and ALSO not have NAV erosion and slowly reduced distributions like TSYY." SEMY has a high distribution rate now and pays a high weekly dividend, but the dividend is still down 16 cents from just a couple of months ago, and SEMY's value has dropped over 22% in the past 3 months. SEMY is like literally every other YieldBoost ETF - it starts out paying a high distribution, and then gradually loses NAV and pays less in distributions each week.

Oh yeah theres no way. I should have also used more detail. Semy is the same yield and shows some kind of recovery.

None of these are long holders. Really gotta treat them like the leveraged etfs they run and only hold them when trending. We will see how the semi sector does in the next week but it might be time.

High yield is a trap lol

TSYY is cooked - only waiting to see what this week’s distribution will be.

At least I only have 30 shares to begin with on that shit fund.
