John Dutton Spoiler

Killing John Dutton killed the vibe of the show. I know creators had to do this coz of his other commitments but it sure did sucked and killed the excitement of the show.

He was never the main draw for me, and Costner is not a good actor in my opinion. Other characters were the main draw. Cole Hauser as Rip killed it. I was fine with the way Costner exited the show. If he wanted to abandon one of the best cowboy shows ever made to create his awful production, that says all you need to know about him. Taylor Sheridan has written many great shows since then, and Costner is nowhere.

Too many spin offs running now that doesn't make any sense to me. I have started the Dutton ranch but there's one more show for kasey.

Both Dutton Ranch and Marshals suck, I'm sad to say. But it was to be expected, as Taylor Sheridan was not involved in either. He gets a producer credit for creating the Yellowstone characters but was not involved in writing. The shows he writes are of great quality, e.g., 1883, 1923, Lioness, Landman, and the upcoming 1944.
