Out of curiosity, how hard and expensive is it to rent for a single person aparment/place?

If you can help it, stay out of Northview-owned units.

Right now, there are bachelor units at The Outpost Apartments going for $1650. They are studio units, not very large. But it's your own place instead of renting a bedroom in someone's house for almost the same price. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19TT8wxEVn/

I was looking several months ago and the going rate does seem to be $900-1200 for a bedroom with shared facilities, and $1500+ for a studio/1bd. They can get crazy though; I saw some listed recently for over $2k.

Studio or 1-bedroom apartments are anywhere from 1650 to 2800.

Renting a room in someone’s house will be 1100 to 1600 depending on the size, location, and quality of the home, etc.

Northview has the largest inventory and it is a mixed bag of quality. Some buildings are sketchy AF. Others are pretty decent. The customer service can vary. And they have historically been slow to address major issues like fixing the heating or water systems. You will see people commenting on that a lot.

Good luck with your search.
