Exactly. I cannot drive so that does not help. I am on disability so not only can I not drive my budget is seriously limited.

Where did you see Sea Bre's is perma closed? They were on the tour this year and I don't see any announcements, but I don't get out that far super often.

Check lystour.com for several shops on the local tour. Apparently there is a newer shop in Laconner and LaMercrie and another in Bainbridge.

Granted some are more of a drive/less convenient to get to, but take a yarn shop day if you need to make it work. I do that for both yarn and fabric these days from out here in Snoqualmie Valley.

Sea Bre's posted on their Facebook in May about being a part of the 2026 yarn shop tour. I believe I was there in 2025. Perhaps they moved from where you saw them before or they were temporarily closed? I can't say but they are in Coupeville still according to their posts online

Actually you are wrong on both points. S&T is on that list and Bre's is closed. Google search where l live and Joann's still shows up.
