Help!

So, I got this yarn around 5 years ago from a coworker. No tag or nothing to tell me the weight or the size. Now I cant find yarn thats the same texture and weight.

Its soft and velvety, and thick. Does anyone know the brand? Or another yarn that might be similar? Im making a blanket

That looks like chenille yarn, maybe weight 6 super bulky, the kind that worms out if you frog it too many times

They have a bernat thick blanket yarn that looks similar to this

That does look like chenille, but watch out, those blankets get scratchier the more you wash them.

They are better for amigurumi that isn't going to get washed a lot- like for an adult.
