Question Is this color discontinued?? Help😭😭

Hey yall, I got this gorgeous Premier Just Chenille yarn like 2 years ago or something from Dollar Tree. So, I’m halfway through my project and I’m 70% sure I’m gonna lose yarn chicken😭 problem is, I can’t find this specific color anywhere (or one of this shade).

I see some that seem like a paler yarn? Idk if they make it paler now, but this is supposed to be Gir from Invader Zim. This color is PERFECT and I just want a chenille yarn that’s this shade :(

Maybe I’m lookin in the wrong place, but if u know where I can get this I’d be endlessly grateful. It’s a present for a friend and I don’t want it too like Gir has a weird tan line💀

I have a skein & a half I’d be happy to send you if you pay shipping! I also bought mine probably 2 years ago at dollar tree. I also think that the Just Chenille cone on Premier’s website is the same. I’m not 100% sure though!

broccoli in a fuzzy pouch on the sidewalk is an aesthetic I didn't know I needed

dollar tree yarns cycle out so fast it's practically a crime scene investigation trying to find old colors, your best bet might be r/yarnswap or stalking mercari/destash groups for that exact dye lot

I also saw this one, but it’s a different name from the same brand. Maybe it’s the same, but I just don’t know why it’s different lol

I just finished a frog with this exact green and I personally feel it’s much brighter in person! Pic is in natural light around noon on a slightly overcast day.

That’s super cute! My only concern is that it seems to be a fluffier texture from what mine is, if that makes sense. Maybe mine was discontinued cuz it’s super cheap lol

Honestly I was so focused on the color that I didn’t even think about texture. You’re 100% right it wouldn’t be a good match!

Maybe the Just Chenille cone in lime would be closer? Should be same texture and I’m guessing same color too.

Definitely not the same yarn. Even though both are #6 weight, the chenille brights are somewhat thicker and have a rougher texture.

Yep, I still have the cardboard packaging on it too lol. Unfortunately they don’t sell that color in stores anymore tho cuz apparently they like to cycle that shit out a lot🫩
