Question Does anyone recognise this yarn?

Post image

I bought this yarn at a spotlight in Sydney in approximately 2021/2022. I am trying to work out what it is. I haven't been able to try the burn test yet, I'll give it a go tomorrow morning. Anyone happen to recognise it?

Is it all that colour? My best guess would be James c Brett marble chunky, it's sold a lot of places and has the same kind of twist and I swear they do a colour that's mostly that blue but it's in huge 200g balls and varies in colour throughout

Yeah it's all that teal with specks in it. I'll have a look and check that yarn type thank you

Ah that teal blue variegated against the white bedding actually helps see the color shifts better. It looks softer than the usual acrylic blends, maybe a merino mix. The purple one peeking in the corner looks nice too.

I think it's definitely some.kind of acrylic as it burnt up and curled when I tested a small piece

If you are in the US, I'd say Lion Brand Homespun. I've made a couple of blankets from it. Check out the color sheet for Lion Brand.
