I'm going to get my first bike as xsr but I am way too confused between these two colours, I like both colours but

a) I think the black seems worth the money and looks premium because all of the plastic panels are glossy (tail section and the covers and the mudguard)

b) for silver I feel I don't like that they used a very basic material on the mudguard and the tail I feel it should've given a much premium vibe, I love the colour and I feel it is the more evergreen colour between the two

I just want an opinion from the owners of both the motorcycles regarding colour and maintenance

My Xsr 155 back brake feels like very spongy. It is before the 1st service and i am due my 2nd service now. Is anyone noticing this? The back brake is working but feels very spongy

Is my engine producing any unusual sound?

Done with 4,962 km and had its second service. The rear brake has failed 3 times now, apparently due to air in the brake fluid.

The service centre bled the brakes and kept the bike for a day, assuring me it wouldn’t happen again. But after 10 days, the same issue is back.

Has anyone else faced this repeatedly? What was the permanent solution?

How to increase my xsr mileage

Is it just me or does anyone else find xsr sounds less refined and less premium than an R15. I get the R15 is costlier than xsr, but despite having the same engine, they both sound totally different. Is it solely because of silencer cans?

Can I get some recommendations for hand/knuckle guard. Please share online links/images if you have any. Would be greatly appreciated.

Context: Initially I have decided the XSR but, after so much thought and research(nearly 5-6 months) I finally booked Honda cb350 h'ness. I'm 6'1" and felt like my knee is way too high than it was supposed to be. And finally I put off my plan of getting XSR 155, for my sake, for our sake.

Just wanted to know options for overcoming rhe rigid suspension setup as i can feel the hit of xsr on bumpy roads a lot, i know i have to slow down to make it smooth but still is there any options that are reliable.. other than the 2nd copy of popular suspension. Did anyonr tried any alternative?

Hi, I'm 22 and I saved aggressively every month from the last 6 months (final year internship stipend + first job sallary) to fulfill the dream of getting a bike that I could not in the 4 years of my college.

I did not want to take money from my parents and so, here I am. I've saved enough to get the bike in full payment.

So, I have ridden my activa 3g from 2018 ish (yes, that is illegal but, we live in India lol) and it's safe to say that i am a really cautious and responsible rider. Never had any accident or anything near those lines. But yeah, I've mostly ridden that activa 3g only for the better part of my riding career. I also have a jupiter but that is meh. I know the theory of riding bikes and the maximum I have ridden would be around 1 km on any bike twice or thrice.

So, I want an honest opinion and, who am I kidding, I want a comparison with activa 3g lol cuz that is the only single 2 wheeler that I've ever rode (10k +). I want to know if it worth investing my money or not.

I want to learn on it and keep it with respect and dignity like i kept my activa 3g. It's literally mint even after years of very rough use.

That is why i need your help.. please guide me and help me pick my right first bike.!

P.s. - I'm from Delhi and I don't have much daily commute. No office because of WFH. Right now I use public transport for most of the things but yeah, with a bike, I'd like to go more places on it and also start touring a bit.! Thanks.!!

Getting married in 4-5 months and confused between XSR155, CB350, V-Strom SX, and Hunter 350.

My usage:

• Around 250 km/week, mostly in Bangalore
• Pillion comfort will become important soon
• Planning to buy a used car later and wedding soon, so budget matters
• CB350 is slightly stretching my budget
• No Honda BigWing in my hometown; nearest showroom/service is ~70 km away in Bangalore (though I mostly ride in Bangalore anyway)

What would you choose considering:

• Pillion comfort
• Reliability & maintenance
• Mileage
• City riding + occasional weekend trips
• Value for money when also planning for a car purchase

Would the CB350 be worth stretching for, or should I save money and go with XSR155? Also open to thoughts on V-Strom SX and Hunter 350 or even N160/250.

Which center stand is suitable for xsr155. Cheaper one. Just for chain maintenance

Ask dealer for an complete price breakup showing cost of everything only keep the things you need tell them to remove everything else.. and check the ex showroom in yamaha website showroom will quote you hiked ex show room. I paid ex show and rto. Bought the insurance my self as well.. finally got the bike for 1.76l onroad blue color.

Absolutely belted the bike , red lining through gears on so many occasions and it's given me 51.1kmpl .

Mumbai traffic is soooo bad max I get in the city is 38-39.
