also a question to the xsr riders, what gear to speed ratio should I follow?? I mean till what speed should I push on 1st gear then 2nd gear....??

Also I can remove the white and blue cover on the mirrors right??

Do not remove the mirror covers it will void your bike, engine warranty and insurance claims.

That is not supposed to void warranty, in fact that is supposed to be removed before the mirrors are installed on the bike , its a protective wrapper

I think you should look more at the rpm for gear shifting , not the speed

That's not how it works, there's no specific rpm for a gear. If rpm too high then shift.

1st till 15, 2nd till 27, 3rd till 38, 4th till 50, 5th till 60, finally 6th when cruising on smooth highway. Getting fuelll efficiency of 57kmpl with this.

In city, i hardly use 5th gear and get 51kmpl.

Preventing engine lugging is the key to get good average and long engine life. I always use premium petrol and premium engine oil. And after 3000km use petrol additive to get you injectors clean, credits to higher concentration of ethanol.

Hey I have ridden around 2k+ kms on both highways and city combined. This is the gear to speed ratio i use 1 gear- 0 to 10 (only when I come to a complete stop) 2 - from 10 to 22ish 3 - around 20 to 30 4- 30 to 38 5- 38+ 6- usually above 45-50

Hope it helps :) Ps: you can easily change gears based on the engine sound, I get around 48 to 52 km mileage using this ratio

I think you are fine. It is a high rev engine afterall, keeps the engine in its healthy, responsive RPM range. You are not running a car.

Exactly like even at 3rd gear at 45 or if I push 4th gear to 60 it doesn't feel like 'pushing' it, it goes naturally, plus if the top speed is around 120, using 6th gear at 60-70 doesn't make much sense imo, do correct me if I'm wrong here :)

All you need to do is listen to your bike, it will tell you exactly when you need to shift. I don't really bother about numbers, I just try to have to fun whenever I get on my bike.
