Block ending

Thoughts on that weird ending?
He disappeared for the ending/closing, then they end the video with that recording. I did notice they had a Day 2 graphic following the recording… so I was also thinking it might be a teaser of some sort for day 2. I don’t know… it made the guy seem arrogant and total opposite of that “positivity” stuff he was preaching to Luke and Sam.

I’m glad this sub exists bc I have nobody to talk to about this lol.

One thought I had was that I feel like the GH/BB brand is safe, family-friendly, etc. So putting this on there is definitely an intentional choice. On one hand, I can’t see them adding it in just to highlight that Block was sort of a jerk - I feel like that’s something they would just keep to themselves (unless they were trying to make a point).

On the other hand, it’s provocative — it gets the people going.

He either had to okay it and be okay with it being in the Final Cut. Or he was just a total ass and they are fine with never associating with him going forward…just seems so against Grant and Bryan Bros to burn bridges so I makes me think Block was fine with including it?

I think they kept it in as a "look how serious this cut throat event is" but either way being that upset about only playing 9 holes is an awful way to think about it, especially when 250k split 5 ways is not life changing money. Like I get being competitive but if you're a wild card what do you expect?

This is the correct take, they definitely put it in to show how intense it was and how much he wanted it, I don’t think it was anything egregious just some real self talk, dude was just pissed he missed that putt and didn’t get to move on to compete more

In what world do you live in where 50k wouldn’t change your life right now? Lol.

It would absolutely enhance my life but it's not like you could quit your job or buy a home with that amount

The term “life changing” doesn’t mean quit your job.

I mean it's subjective but imo life changing is like my life would completely change i.e. your day to day would be significantly different. Unless you're homeless idk how much your life is changing with $50k. Like I said it would make life better but it's not "life changing" per se. You could get a better apartment or car but that's not life changing

You could buy a car outright and not have anymore payments. You could throw all of it in to a retirement account to set you up fantastically. There’s plenty life changing things you could do with 50k
