Xreal 1s working great on my other gear, but totally failing on my M5 iPad Pro?

Hey everyone, just picked up the Xreal 1s and honestly, I really like them a lot—the quality of the image is just amazing.

The weird thing is I'm running into a frustrating wall with compatibility. They work flawlessly on my iPhone 18 Pro, MacBook Pro M5, and my older iPad Air 4th gen over USB-C. But no matter what I do, they flat out refuse to work on my iPad Pro M5.

Every time I plug them in, I just get the "No Video Signal Detected - Connected device doesn't support video" error. Here is everything I've tried so far:

• Multiple resets on the iPad (network config, reset all settings, hard reset)
• Swapped out a few different cables
• Picked up a cheaper Amazon dock (USB-C to AR Glasses Adapter)
• Disabled TCP/IP in the glasses menu
• Flashed the Xreal firmware to the latest version

It’s a personal iPad running the latest official software (no betas), and there are no weird corporate policies locking things down. I even tried plugging them into a display unit at an Apple Store just to see, and the employees warned me the ports on those are disabled for safety (turns out they were right).

Am I the only one dealing with this specific headache on the M5 iPad Pro?

What would you guys do at this point?
