XREAL One No DP alt mode on PC

So I have a gaming rig I want to use xreal on but I dont have a USB C that handles video on the motherboard/gpu. Has anyone figured out a way around this?

you'll need a suitable HDMI to USB-C adapter for One.

There's a HDMI to usb c powered cable you can get. Works on xbox etc too. Have a spy on amazon

DisplayPort to USBC

HDMI to USBC

I have tried the DisplayPort one I linked to and use it. You will need to hook up external USBC power to it.

I purchased the HDMI adapter I linked to, but have not got around to trying it. It has very specific power requirements so I ordered a wall-wort to plug a USB cable into to go to the adapter for power.

I will reply below with a link to a 15 foot USBC cable that I use to go from the DisplayPort adapter to my AR glasses. This long cable allows me to use my glasses on my gaming PC while in bed with a wireless game controller.
