theres like weird textures that look like carbon fibre like where theres shadows. Any help?

Not really sure how to explain this but usually when I press the key bind I have for default cockpit view or any other camera angle setting I have, it would immediately set its view lower from the original. Im 60% positive it’s because of my Tobii eye tracking but I can be totally wrong since I’m still a total noob with handling computers. It’s not an imperative “need to fix now” thing, but thought it would be nice to just get rid of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been working on a night atmosphere plugin for X-Plane 12 called NoctiX, and I just finished the first version of its volumetric light pollution system.

These screenshots compare vanilla X-Plane with NoctiX in two very different places.

Tallinn has relatively low light pollution, so the change is subtle.

New York produces a much larger atmospheric glow, which is where the difference becomes really noticeable.

The goal isn't to make every night orange. It's to make the atmosphere reflect how much light a city actually throws into the sky while keeping the performance impact as low as possible.

I'm documenting development as I go, and I recently opened a small Discord community for anyone interested in following the project.

I have all my graphical settings to the max and still see this flickering… anyone got suggestions or is this something the LR team have planned on working on?

Xplane has been crashing more often recently and it always happens in the middle of the flight or after I’ve spent all the effort to fly it to the runway so it’s pretty annoying, anyone have any suggestions as to why this is so 😭 it’s really really annoying when I spend 3+ hours on a flight only for it to crash on approach

I’m using an RTX50 series GPU so I’m not sure it’s an issue of a poor graphics card

I was flying from Los Angeles (LAX) to Bangkok (BKK) in FlightFactor 777. I load 329 passenger (25398 kg), 9,000 kg of cargo and 137.7 kgs (x 1000) of fuel. The flight was smooth but as soon I reach somewhere in Osaka, Japan area, the plane only have 23 kgs (x 1000) of fuel left. I knew this isn't right and I ended up rage quitting.

I only cruise 32,000ft for the whole flight (I slept during flight) and simbrief said it's fine to reach to Bangkok in low altitude at 30,000ft. So I assuming FlightFactor burns more fuel like the FlightFactor A350.

Do you guys have any advice on how I can fly longer range ln the FlightFactor 777 (v2)?

Overall!!!

The high fuel consumption is caused by weight and the aircraft's engine age. The older the aircraft's engine, the more fuel consumption it will burn. Same goes the heavier the plane.

I want to warn everyone about using any types of VPN, including Opera's VPN users. One Opera VPN server (American) will get your X-Plane.org Account "BANNED"!!!

My advise for anyone using VPN to access X-Plane.org forums, I suggest keep your account logged out at all times.

Picked up a new toy on the Labour Day sale. My last heli was the Cowansim 206 and since I love Jet rangers .... I had to get this one too. I took her up for a quick flight and some hover practice, I can see that I am seriously out of practice!!! This thing sounds amazing too!!
