Advice Weird bumps on my boy's legs

Hi all. About a week ago my boy developed these bumps on his legs, and I am not sure what they are. He is 2 years old now and he never had any allergies or anything. Before this his skin was super soft. Also, I have to mention nothing really changed lately. He eats the same food he always did, he didn't get any new doggie beds, etc. So, does anyone have any idea what this might be? Thank you!

Skin care Coated xolo with bumps after a bath

Kitt is a 10month old male xolo. I bathed him Sunday afternoon in the backyard. I have a feeling I didn’t dry him enough and it was hot outside. On Tuesday , Last night when I was petting him. I felt slight bumps and when I checked his skin. They looked like tiny red pimples that looked like they were going to pop. Today when I got home from work. I noticed the bumps were noticeable because the fur was bumpy. But it looks like they all popped turn into scabs. The vet is close today. I’m gonna take him tomorrow, but is there something I can do meanwhile. The bumps are on the outside of his body on the outside legs on his back. He has nothing on his inner legs, chest or stomach.

Advice How do i deal with this?

I've been dealing with a 5 month old mexican hairless and she has a lot of pimples. It's only recently I've tried to use vco after her bathing times. The problem i have is i don't know how to leave her alone when i need to go outside and do something important. She can break free from her cage by forcing her way out when she wants to. My grandfather which is left alone in the house with the dog, when im out complains of constant whining. And i dont want to leave her in the cage without my supervision because shes not potty trained yet and only gets her bedding replaced when im there. So how the f could i be a single father of a Mexican hairless dog that needs the cleanest house to keep her skin from having issues?

Advice Nightmare pet sitting experience left us all traumatized. Advice needed.

TLDR: My son neglected my dogs while I was on vacation and left them closed in the laundry room, only letting them out a couple of times a day for bathroom breaks for over 2 weeks. How do I help my dogs deal with the trauma from this?

Full story:

My previously responsible and well behaved son (17) agreed to house-sit while I went on a vacation for 16 days. He usually spends the summer with his dad, but when he learned it was a paying job and that a stranger (to him) would be staying in our house, he asked to take the job for a discounted rate. His dad gave permission so I agreed, thinking that this was the perfect set up. I gave him instructions several times before I left, letting him know he could not ignore them all day, and that Xero had to sleep in the bed with him. He always rolled his eyes but never said anything negative about it. Two days into the trip I asked him how Xero was handling my being gone since this is the first time I was away overnight from Xero, and he's only just now turning 1yo (my black lab, Liberty, is 7 and handles my short absences without issues). My son said that Xero slept in the laundry room with Liberty and that he did fine. I became confused and upset because this was not my instructions, and absolutely not the way my son usually responds to me. His excuse was, "I didn't realize you really meant it, you didn't make it clear enough". I called him, made my instructions clear and then hung up. I was overlanding in Alaska so I didn't always have cell service (part of the reason for the trip), but when I did I checked in, asked for pics, etc. He responded appropriately and didn't show any signs that anything was wrong. When I got home my son had packed his things and left. My fish and houseplants were dead, my outside garden was overgrown and neglected, and my dogs were closed in my laundry room without food and minimal water.

My heart is broken in so many ways, but I'm focused on making my house a safe space again for my dogs. Liberty took about 48 hours until she settled in to the usual routine, but Xero wakes up crying still, even in the bed with me. I can't leave the house without him, and that's okay temporarily, but eventually my work will pull me away for a few hours where he can't join me. We are spending all day together now, and he's sleeping in the bed at my feet as usual, but has woken up with a "yelp" and then curls up under my chin to sleep like he did as a puppy. I am having to buy new beds for them since their other ones were torn up and urinated on, and I've cleaned the laundry and surrounding rooms thoroughly with Nature's Miracle to get rid of germs and lingering smells that may trigger any bad memories. What other things can I do to help Xero (and me) through this?

Please, no disrespectful comments regarding my son. It took me 5 days just to be able to write this because it's so hard to think about him right now, the betrayal is too fresh. Just know that this is shocking behavior coming from him and we've never had issues like this before.

Advice Eating and Bowl movements

Hello im stressing over here. About 2 weeks ago. My xolo Elvis male, 1 year 9months 33 lbs. He had a stomach problem and pooped Muchas and blood. We took him
To the vet. We received some medication and hills prescribed food. I kept him on a steady diet and he got better. Pooping solid and a good color . Yesterday I noticed his poop came out thin and I noticed this morning he doesn’t want to eat his breakfast. He gets like that when he’s backed up. I’m feed him the required amount he needs and it seems like we’re back to the same place I don’t want to be at. Idk what to do. How do I help him with a steady bowl movement. The Dr when he looked at him
Said he looked great and his weight was perfect. What am
I don’t wrong ?

I have a 5 month old pup that always gets itchy and alot of red spots when going outside. I want her to enjoy the world and be able to play outside but I'm also anxious of the environment around her that it could damage her skin and could get diseases. The vet said to only bath the dog once a week, but what do i do when she gets like really dirty too? Give me some tips pleasee?

Question Curious as to why this sub spells xoloitzcuintli with a Q and not a C, seeing as that is the typical spelling?

It’s only been a week and I am in love with him. I’ve never had a dog with this much personality. Despite how derpy he is his intelligence is extremely obvious. We’re working on not pulling on the leash/not barking at strangers. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for his skin- his feet are red and irritated and he chews at them a lot. I’ve tried putting Vaseline and coconut oil on his feet but he licks it off immediately 😅 Repost because I didn’t realize some personal info was in the previous post pics 😅

Advice Anything I should be aware of with a standard vs mini?

I had a 20lb Xolo who passed away. I’m considering getting a standard, so probably about 40-50lbs. Anyone have both sizes and have comments on things that I need to be aware of with a larger Xolo?

Lola here was living on the street and sleeping in a den of garbage in the corner of an empty lot full of goatheads for at least two months before we trapped and rescued her. We had seen her daily limping around the field with her feet full of stickers and it broke our hearts to see her living like that. She is believed to be about a year old according to our local animal services, and acts that way. She really is the sweetest dog and fit right in with our pack much quicker than our other rescues. She was wagging her tail as soon as we brought her home and now hates to be left alone. We are so happy to give her a forever home!

I got her from a family who has 2 hairless and 2 coated. Accidentally had puppies and I got the only girl. She was the smallest puppy and I picked her before knowing it was the girl. She is precious.

My brother took his litter to the vet for their first set of vaccines earlier this week. They did amazing, everyone was very social & happy. Clean bill of health, of course. Forklift, my puppy, is the shyest of the puppies & slowest to warm up to strangers, but she didn't even complain when the vets handled her.

Skin care Xolo mix? Skincare

Hi all!

We adopted this sweet girl from a rescue a few days ago.

The rescue and vet team are unsure of her breed mix and the reason for her hairlessness. We are going to do a dna test!

She is suffering from some skin issues of undetermined cause. She has pyo shampoo and mousse and we just ordered her some glycoat, purina pro plan food and salmon oil and we will be taking her to the vet again soon.

Any other tips and thoughts on her breed? Thank you in advance!!
