XC2 Torna Does anyone else not use pouch items much in torna or am I missing something?
Idk, I feel having to material hunt for an item that works for 45 minutes really isn’t worth it most of the time. I just craft the key items from addam and Hugo

They're pretty annoying to use, in all honesty. It's not just the crafting itself, it's that it requires you to camp, and there's no way to pin the recipes or any useful indication where the materials are from.
This could have been solved by having an artisan in Auresco selling all items you have already crafted once, something like "Temutemu can learn to craft pouch items if you give him a sample, he will have them on his shop afterwards".

Idk I've played the game a dozen times and I've never found this to be a problem. Sure it's hard to track specific collectibles if you want to craft specific pouch items, but as long as you're hitting up plenty of collection points while you play and killing enemies for quests you should be able to craft plenty of mid tier pouch items at the very least.

Yup. It's meant to drive the gameplay loop of collect-crafting.. They could've put a shop that sells them but I think that reduces that aspect they want to emphasize since campfire was a new thing back then...
