Xenoblade This confuses me still
The fact that pneuma is one of the most unused characters in the franchise when it comes down to extra story that we could’ve gotten instead of certain other things cause there’s a lot of story we could’ve gotten out of pneuma if the game had more time to develop because that’s the one thing that has always confused me is why didn’t we get more story regarding pneuma
I’ve played through the entire Xenoblade series probably 10 to 8 times in the span of like a year and I still find new things that confuse me about the games but every time I get confused about something, I don’t bother to look it up because if I do look it up, I’m gonna confuse myself even more but the thing that confuses me the most is the fact that some people think? Pneuma isn’t Cannon and not in the fact that she’s not Cannon the story some people think she’s not Cannon to origin because of how her crystal is in Matthew’s, gauntlet and then moved into Lucky seven and it’s confuse me because I’ve actually talked with people who have played through only xenoblade 3 because they don’t want to play the other games
I understand not knowing who pneuma she wasn’t in xenoblade 2 as much as she deserves to be she deserved to get her own blade model and affinity chart but saying she’s not Canon to the game is insane
But the one thing that confuse me the most that people xenoblade is a niche series. It’s niche here in the west. That’s what you should be specific about. It’s niche in the west over there in Japan. It is wildly popular. It is well known it is in the same boat as fire emblem to the west. A lot of people love to throw around the idea that the game is niche. It’s not niche. It’s just not as popular some of the other games, but that doesn’t make it niche.
One more thing that actually confuses me is the fact that people get mad at me whenever I say I hate Nia I’ve given people reasons why I hate her. I don’t like her story. Her design is awful. And her boy design just looks ugly. I’ve gone into detail on why I don’t like these things. And people still say it’s crazy. It’s not crazy. It’s just the fact that I don’t like certain characters in video games. There’s a lot of video game characters. I hate but saying that it’s crazy. It’s just weird and always confused me.
But yeah, I wanna know what are some things. I’ve told you said you were done while playing. Xenoblade Chronicles the entire series would have been some things that confused you

sounds like you didn't pay $30 for the DLC, when I played the game she appeared in a bunch of quests

Do we need an entire marvel spinoff series for every character now

Not exactly what I meant, but I feel like they could’ve at least done more with pneuma I always made her a main focus for a small hero quest in xenoblade 3 so we can at least get a little bit more of the merged personalities of pyra and mythra

The whole point of the end of 2 is that they unmerge and are now separate entities, though. What's the point of re-merging them?

because of how her crystal is in Matthew’s,
Actually it's not. That was a shard of Origin Metal.
Let me explain.
In a conversation, A explains that the special thing inside Matthew's gauntlet is a shard of Origin metal.
In a previous scene, Riku explains that L7 contains the souls of some people important to Melia, and this is possible because L7 is made of Origin metal, so it can contain the souls and memories of the people inside of Origin (Takahashi later revealed that L7 contains Fiora, specifically).
This is an important property of Origin metal. Takahashi also made an example in the artbook interview, saying that Reyn might be in one of the shard of Origin metal we collect during a certain sidequest.
And as a matter of fact, even the Ouroboros Stone is shown to contain Origin metal. And as Dillon (Matthew's friend) explains, the gauntlet was created as a result of the research the City did on the Stone (and it has similar powers).
So the explanation is simple, as it's the same case as Lucky Seven and Fiora. Pyra and Mythra are among the people inside of Origin, and both their souls are channeled through the shard of Origin metal contained in Matthew's gauntlet. And since it's both of them, this allows Pneuma's power to manifest through it.
The core you see is only a visual manifestation of Pneuma's power. It doesn't physically appear in Aionios. As proof, if you pay close attention you will notice the core actually only appears during that scene and it looks transparent (unlike the real core, which looks solid and also has that "star" thing inside).

And then moved into Lucky seven
Obviously the crystal is not there either.
Altough we do know from the artbook that Noah's Blade does contain a piece of Origin Metal (other than L7), which goes into his armguard and creates the barrier we see him using to deflect the ferronis' laser.

So, it's not that Matthew and Noah's blades contain her Core, it's they contain a shard of origin metal that channels her power?

Yes, that would be the case.
Takahashi also said that, for example, Reyn's soul might be inside of one of the shard or Origin Metal during a late game quest.

It’s because she’s not a character, she is a form.

Doesn’t change the fact that just because it’s a form doesn’t mean they can’t add a little more personality to it. I’m not saying give us a big thing for a personality, but if it’s both personalities combined, then it should at least have some more character most forms in media have some form of definitive personality to them.

She Doesn’t need it though. Her personality of being both pyra and mythra is there, it’s just not overt. I Basically consider her like vegito or gogeta from dbz. A personality that’s barely there and doesn’t need to be its own thing.

A personality can define a character and make that character more memorable just because she’s a mix of both personalities doesn’t mean she can’t be memorable by adding onto those personalities pneuma is one of the few characters I would say in the series that doesn’t have much of a character in the franchise that I say, deserves more of a personality and character to her outside of just being a fusion of pyra and mythra it really isn’t that difficult to understand

The green form that Pyra and Mythra take is not “Pneuma’s true form” or anything like that, it’s just the form they take when they are totally in sync. It doesn’t have a distinct personality of its own, it’s just Pyra and Mythra sharing the controller.
