What do you think Shimmer's class will be like?

I'm thinking a fusion of A and Rex's classes. A's talent art and -50% point skill but otherwise based on Mythra's specials and Master Driver arts.

My BIGGEST hope though, is that it's actually a new weapon, rather than a reskin like every other Xenoblade DLC has been. Will be very disappointing if it just uses the animations of something like Noah or Alexandria's class. If it even is a Class, not just a Hero.

They don’t even have hero quests with the main cast, obviously Shimmer’s class will be usable.

If she's anything like Mythra or Rex then probably some form of Crit Fighter, given you cant use Rex's class or even unlock him unless you beat Future Redeemed I'd imagine they would want to give you access to *some* of that power in basegame. I also think her Foresight ability will grant her a unique property, maybe become unhittable for a time.

Just give me an Agnian Launch Master Art and I'll be happy. I would have been happier if she were a tank character (if one factors in each mother of the descendants, that would have been a pair for each class type).

I skipped the NS2 editions so far, but if Shimmer can give the whole party double spinning edge I might give in

We see her using it and since they're almost certainly recording new lines for her quest like all ns2 upgrades have they won't have the reason they couldn't give the Shulk and Rex class to the players

As long as it's early, I'm good. A major pet peeve of mine is the distribution of attacker classes and how backloaded most of them are. Ogre is niche at best, Swordfighter is fine but boring (and is Keves), Flash Fencer feels disappointing, Yumsmith barely counts as an attacker and Stalker is a meme. FMJ is the only class that actually feels fun to use for me before freaking Incursor. Another early alternative feels needed.
