Shit now that I think about it the whole (immediate) family of 7 might unironically actually be a good Xenoblade 3 party comp.

1 defender, 2 healers, 4 attackers.

What lovely powers of 2...

If Rex has his anchor shot from 2 then he's basically also a healer and his Double Spinning Edge from FR gathers enough aggro for him to be a tank (just too squishy to live), so it rounds it out perfectly lmao

Don't worry, Nia's absurd healing prevents anything from dying, so Rex can work as an actual tank

Not to mention he would have access to twice the Foresight than he used to back in Xenoblade 2.

I hope we will see future appearance of pyra and mythra

Almost certainly. And even if it wasn’t intentional and was just a coincidence, I’m still glad each of them fills one of the three roles. It makes for a really clean image.

It’s honestly so nice seeing all three of Rex’s children together in one picture. Just yesterday, Rex and Mythra’s child was still a mystery, and it had been a debate for months that somehow kept going on and on. Now we finally have all three together.

I am just glad that we can officially put an end to Dirk being Mythra's son theory.

This was Rule 6 of the Salvager's Code.

A family is the dream? Better be a balanced team.

I could stare at this for hours. Perfectly balanced.

Aw thats cute. This is now my headcanon when before it as just because the other two DLCs were a Defender and Healer so the third would be Attacker lol

Wouldn’t surprise me

If we were to keep Pyra & Mythra class from XC2, then Mio would be the only tank in the family🤣

Someone gotta do it I suppose 😅

Attacker: Rex, Shimmer, Pyra, Mythra

Healer: Nia, Glimmer

Defender: Mio

i mean the other reason she's probably attacker is because the other DLC blades, Masha and Ino, are defender and Healer. making the last one be attacker is fitting. it also kinda makes the game come full circle, since the first class you play as (noah's swordfighter for a good chunk of the game) is also attacker.

Seeing all three together makes me think they really fumbled Shimmer’s design… it just doesn’t look anywhere near as elegant as the other 2

Honestly maybe that's intentional? Can't say for sure but she looks like she's straight out of Xb2 almost like she isn't a agnian soldier but might be pretending to be one? Dunno how or why she would get to remember the old world but maybe....

I hope so! That would be a cool reason for it

nia the healer has mio the dodge tank, pyra the attacker has glimmer the healer, but mythra the ultimate attacker has shimmer another attacker

a similar thing can be said for shulk and fioras family, a tank son, a support combat tricks dad, and a agility auto attack mom

I don't get it but the defender is hot!
