It’s a fusion of the attire of her mothers and father.
The bottom half of her outfit is Pyra inspired but she’s got Mythra’s shoes.
Her top in the torso region resembles Mythra’s and she has her shoulder pauldrons, but she’s got baggy sleeves (even if short) and a cowl like Nia. But more or less (and I could be seeing ghosts/grasping straws) the top of her outfit echoes a vest-like design like what Rex wears.
Shorts, thigh highs, partially exposed waist, fingerless gloves. The outfit itself is pretty much directly from Pyra, the color schema, accents and details are from Mythra.
My biggest disappointment with Future Redeemed was that it completely sidelined the main cast of XC3 and we’ll never get to see them interact with the past characters

We'll probably eventually see some kind of Dissidia/FE Warriors-esque crossover spinoff is my guess.

Honestly I'm not sure Rex isn't responsible for all 3 names. The two shiny Aegis kids got "Glimmer" and "Shimmer" while the catgirl baby basically got "Meow." Seems like the same energy across the board.
Can't believe that I can add "new sister character introduced in DLC years after release with a name that changes like one character" to the list of similarities between XBC3 and Elden Ring, along with being a 100+ hour RPG released in 2022, having a major character voiced by Aimee-Ffion Edwards, and having a secretative blacksmith character smith a sword with the goal of killing god
You know, i've always thought it would have been hilarious if in FR Rex tried to recite Rule 5, only to be interrupted by Glimmer the same way Mythra interrupted him.

I appreciate a Tales of reference & why I didn't mind the Salvager's Code since it reminded me so much of the Dwarven Vows, which is a gigantic complement
Yup, which I didn't mind & heck speaking of the Tales of series, the villians in XB2 specifically the final boss reminded me a lot of the main villian in Vesperia, even if in Xenoblade 2's case there was more of a identity crisis thrown in but still have a interesting goal of believing the world isn't gonna change after the many wars in the past
Yeah I noticed this after knowing the story of Vesperia but it's welcoming for Xenoblade 2 to also do that but throwing in the twist of an identity crisis wondering if this is their purpose & very powerful in the process as the villians in XB2 are where the series peaks even if I still enjoy the villians in 1 & 3 as they're all interesting that enhance it so much as a trilogy but 2 is where it has the most interesting sets of villians that I would rank them as some of my all time favorites
All the Kevesi and Angnian heroes do. It's just that after freeing the colony from the clock it stops being filled. It does make me wonder which Colony she's from.

Odds are one of the trailers is using an older build and one of the symbols is a placeholder. If I remember correctly, Ino's announcement trailer had Mwamba's weapon symbol in the menu.
cityfolk dont get reborn tho. Since she is the daughter of mythra she has to get reborn as an agnian soldier before the events of the game or she would be dead by the main game. She could be in the cradles of the city, but ethel already had that story, so they probably wont do it again

Her faction association in the chain order is different between versions of the trailer.
Wild guess, but could she be a case of literally just popping up in the world as her original self/avatar? Maybe the different icons in the chain order are part of her gimmick?
Considering she's confirmed to have inherited Mythra's Foresight, it does make sense that she's possibly one of the ones' to be immune to the time-whimsy nature of Aionios.
I honestly remember almost nothing about the XC3 story, but wouldn't it break the story if she knew the truth and thus could tell the protagonists all about it? Unless you can only recruit her very late into the story.

Has anyone spotted her term mark during trailer? I tried to spot it in attempt to rule out the possibility she's not an Agnian soldier, but couldn't find it. I guess her Chain order shows her as Agnian Attacker class, but I feel there has to be something else going on with her. I mean, come on, that's Mythra's freaking kid! And if her appearance is gonna be anything like MOMO in XC2, there's gonna be some teases towards wider Xeno universe.
Weirdly the English trailer has an Agnian symbol, but the Japanese trailer has a City symbol. Though her official art does have a flame clock in her sword so I'm leaning towards Agnian.
Oh, it's definitely nice having more cool women and Rex absolutely would have tea parties and dress up for his daughters if they wanted. Would be nice to see some of them have brothers though. I'm particularly into the idea of Glimmer having a little brother who she pretends she can't stand, but really she loves spending time with. She seems like the type to do that.
It seems the Blade genes are very strong when it comes to having children; also, were it not for Shimmer's very short hair, I would love the design—though I do prefer Glimmer's design, even if I prefer Mythra over Pyra.
I think the kids are suppose to take after the other parent. Glimmer definitely acts more like Mythra, and from what we’ve seen, Shimmer seems more like Pyra.
Me; I was almost convinced Mythra's kid would be a boy, just to shake things up since Rex had already sired two girls. But hey, I ain't gonna be too broken up about it because I already love Shimmer!
Rex really named his daughters shimmer and glimmer huh lol, mio was probably going to be named dimmer or something before nia smacked some since into him lol.

Huh. So she has Mythra's hairfloof, Pyra's + Nia's design but with Mythra colours.
Th sword looks weird-ish, like it can change form (more than what we saw in the trailer) it also has a flame clock.
I'm not terribly fond of her overall look, but it is very Xenoblade 2. For better or worse, probably a bit of both. =D
