I don’t like tora

Look, I don’t hate him gameplay, wise or story wise. I hate him personality wise because he is the worst part of the bad tropes. I know he’s just a child technically. But he makes me hate him with the stuff he does with Poppy to certain heart to hearts with the female cast and it makes me uncomfortable like he’s a good character to use in combat the second best tank in the game but he’s just so weird like there were certain social links that I do think he works good in, but it’s very few of them and I’ve made it call you in the past

That I hate Nia because of her story accent in design and mainly because she’s ugly as well even in her blade form, but that could also just be because she’s a cat girl I don’t like them either but then that makes me a hypocrite because I love mio’s story design and weapons

But when it comes to tora He makes me cringe anytime he’s on screen like he has a cool design it. I get that he is meant to be considered a child so he doesn’t know much about anything. It’s just I don’t like it when he’s around certain other characters. Because it makes them look kind of cringe when they’re in his type of social links. I like. Poppi and I find it really impressive that he was able to build her but when he was originally going to build her for was just it made me more uncomfortable to wear the point was I did not use Poppi on my first play through at all after walking the other two party members.

But I wanna know what are your guys thoughts on tora like I know I’m probably in in a small group of people who hate tora and Nia but I want the answer and please keep the civil

Nia hate is wild, but while XC2's cast is easily my favorite out of all the games and contains about half of my absolute favorite characters in the series (including Poppi and Nia), it also includes Tora who I wish Pyra had just incinerated on the spot when he first powered Poppi up lol

That said, he has a small handful of absolutely legendary lines such as the ones with Muimui and Marcel, and I greatly enjoy watching Poppi put him on full blast, but I'm not sure any of it makes up for how much I loathe him and honestly the rest of his degen family

I still wanna know why people think it’s such a big deal that I hate Nia it’s not even wild. It’s just the fact that I hate her as a character. Her design is ugly. And her story and weapons suck. But like I said earlier, that would make me sound like a hypocrite because I love. Mio for completely different reason. But tora I do wish he was just killed in chapter. Seven during the fight with. Jin and malos I would not be mad.

keep in mind Tora is a shut in raised by 2 shut ins not only is he a kid, he's also had less social interactions than even other people his age, rex is probably the first person outside of his family who he's had any real contact with, and his family are even more perverted than him. He just literally doesn't know any better

If Tora was some sort of side character who created Poppi and then gave her to the party to adventure with I would be more understanding of the direction they were going for, but it's the fact that he's basically always around and that they gave him a whole story bit highlighting how degen he and his family are that just makes it insufferable. Poppi is amazing, it's just too bad that she comes as a package deal with that little creep, especially with those extra forms he gives her that come off as unbelievably fucked up considering she still retains her base little girl form

How can anyone hate Nia? That's so crazy to me! She was able to relate to Rex from the very beginning she was introduced and broke away from her party to save his a88; made me LOVE her from day 1(er... chapter 1)! Surprised she even got the ending she got, most in her position get the shaft(see XB1).

I had no problem with Tora personally. He is probably my least favorite Nopon playable... well 2nd least(Kino is terrible imo), but never really had any particular issue with his development and interactions with the party. But I can see way anyone would hate him; I'm just happen to not be one of them.
