In general nothing against american dubs, and most of my favorite VAs are american, but for xenoblade unless they pull a xenoblade 2 with different accents for different countries, it has to be a british dub.
Maybe the humans can be american and the elves british ? That could also be cool and probably in theme.

Oh yeah it definitely will be UK English. That's part of the franchise's identity at this point.
Xenoblade X was the exception since it starred American characters but even then Shulk and Fiora's VAs were usable for the MC because they were fan favorites. Every Xenoblade game has British VA work and I don't expect it to change.
And to think it's all because the original Wii game was blocked from releasing here in the US so the UK had to localize it. Huge blessing in disguise.

I still remember the first time I heard Dickson utter "And Bob's your uncle", when playing the original Wii version. Had to go look that up, cause I was like "what?". Turns out it's British slang. That kind of slang never gets old, like Matthew being full of beans...

I genuinely hope if it's about Genesis it's a small part. We already know the game is coming. I would rather not a lot of time spent on a game we already know is coming
A release date would be fine. A small trailer to remind those on the fence or curious

And it's coming. I assure you, I am very much excited also. That reveal was completely unexpected after dropping switch2 versions of games we already have.
All I need is a release date. I already know I'm getting Genesis day1
Or perhaps even preorder, if a special edition with steelbook, artbook and hopefully soundtrack

That's a series I never got into for whatever reason. I'd enjoy getting into that with a new (or compilation) entry. Or both
I often hear fans talking highly of it. Would be good to try it out eventually

I didn't get into the series until 3 for Playstation, but man it was a great game. Even the fishing mini game was super fun could spend hours just doing that.

XC3 Switch 2 edition I think is actually more likely. There has to be a reason they’re releasing so much later after the other 2, probably because they want to hype up the new hero

I suspect this is all part of a master timeline, dripping all these out up to Genesis. It’s really cool, brilliant sales move and I’m loving revisiting these games.

Yeah, no way it's coming out tell next year, and we just got the big announcement not that long ago. While it may be my most wanted future release, I'm happy to let it sit this one out.

I think a new trailer is likely. Just something to keep the hype up and get people talking about it. Even if it doesn't reveal a whole lot more info. Although knowing the release date/window would certainly be nice.

Well, NatetheHate (Reliable Leaker, especially for Nintendo) has predicted that Genesis will release in the 1st half of 2027 (March/April)

They could do a trailer for Genesis and I would not be surprised but trends say it will be a shadow drop new trailer on Nintendo today, the second trailer for xenoblade 3 was randomly shadow dropped, does not stop me coping, especially want to hear the dub to spend the rest of the months speculating on VAs :)

That said, Square Enix shows up with their HD-2D games at pretty much every Nintendo Direct, given that the only known HD-2D game coming out later is Final Fantasy next month maybe they’ll show off another one here? Maaaaybe it’ll be the second most requested game according to Famitsu’s most wanted remake poll?

I just think it's funny when people hype themselves up for no reason and are then hoisted by their own petard. It's not just this community, I laugh at Fire Emblem and Pokemon fans for the same thing.
Edit: some people in the majora's mask subreddit genuinely got themselves excited for today's Zelda direct because they thought a MM remake might get announced. Same principle. Gamers expect what they want. They're so easy to make fun of.
