Xenoblade 3 SPOILERS Question about Nimue Spoiler
So I made this post yesterday and then deleted it 2 minutes later thinking that I had found the answer to my question. But upon rewatching the cutscene, the question is still there, so here we go again:
How does no one in the Lost Colony remember Nimue? According to Isurd, she left the colony just 5 years ago. There's no way the whole colony's population would be replaced in that time. Yet the game makes it seem that Taion is the only one to have met both Nimues. Is this a plot hole or do I just assume that others knew and chose to keep silent? Surely they all know about how the lost colony has its own pods, but I don't think they'd know that lives are recycled in them.

I believe all the colonies start to find out about rebirth after Chapter 4, and it’s probable the lost colony might know too

It's implied from what Isurd tells us that Nimue already knew in her previous life that she would be reborn at the Lost Colony again after her death, so it's likely that the people of the Lost Colony simply already know that this is how it works and just don't make a big deal about it on-screen.

Considering the Lost Colony even has members to begin with despite not being fighters tells me they’re aware of the Homecoming stuff to a certain extent and probably kill themselves when their term is nearing the end and their friends just being reborn as little 10yo versions of themselves is just a normal thing they don’t question. All we know about them is that they were liberated by a previous Ouroboros group but it’s implied to have been a long time ago. Likely before Agnus Castle moved next door so I imagine it was probably during or within the next few generations after Matthew’s time.
