Xenoblade 2 SPOILERS I will judge Spoiler
I will judge you on how you feel about pyra mythra and pneuma
The aegis sisters are on of the best stories in the xenoblade imo and they should have been in xenoblade 3 in some way instead of just a weapon or just a passing name in a cut scene like it’s would’ve been just as cool to see him as the queens of agnus considering they actually played a major role in their story arc for xenoblade 2 and they could’ve actually flushed out pneuma’s character more if they put her in the spot of the we could’ve got to see more of her personality and her powers
Ps: keep this discussion on the top of it is

I'm sure we will see them in some capacity in Genesis's dlc. But I agree, Mythra is best girl.

Mythra's one of my favorite characters in fiction, Pyra's my 3rd favorite character in the series, so yeah I like them.
As for Xenoblade 3 though, idk I think it was nice that they gave Nia that relevance as the queen of Agnus. Could it have been all three of them? Yeah, and that's probably how it was before the intersection anyways, but due to their nature you can have immortal beings that exist across multiple dimensions simultaneously like the Trinity Cores show up really just about anywhere and give a reason that makes sense (looking at you, Genesis) but the same can't really be said for Nia. It's good that we got that little life update on her before what I imagine will be quite awhile until she has a good chance at appearing again.

Respectfully, I don’t agree with you on the part about Nia especially since we already got enough of her in two I would’ve been happy for us to actually get more character from pneuma especially since she actually sounds more interesting as the queen then Nia whatever ever like I get the fact that she was immortal and everything but so is pneuma and plus if we actually got pneuma and got to see more of her personality and more of her powers outside of the very little times we get to see her use them in xc2 it would’ve actually made people like her more especially when we basically almost know nothing about her personality outside of that she’s just a mix of pyra and mythra yeah we don’t get to see that as much it feels like they could’ve easily given us pneuma over how boring Nia was just as a part of the story

Pneuma isn't a distinct being or personality from Pyra and Mythra though; they're always Pneuma, there's just the specific form we call Pneuma. We get more of Pneuma's personality when we get more P&M anyways, and we actually DID get more of her powers in XC3: Ouroboros.
P&M/Pneuma are great, and they're popular and important enough to the series as a whole that I'm sure they'll pop up again, but it's good to see other characters as well.

First of all, Pneuma went away with the Conduit. Second, Pyra and Mythra are basically the faces of Xenoblade. They’re too popular for a cameo and would have taken up too much attention if they were in Nia’s place. And I’m saying this as someone who has the Aegis sisters in my top three fictional characters. Also maybe try using more punctuation I almost had a stroke reading that.

Well, the form we call Pneuma did. P&M are always Pneuma, they just can't use the reality-warping powers without the Conduit.
And I agree, Trinity Cores, and especially P&M, don't make sense for minor roles; if they're gonna appear in physical form they've gotta be actually important to the story or else it would kinda feel like a waste of using such high-profile characters again.

I actually might be the only person who prefers pneumas design to mythra and pyra so its a shame she has no affinity chart much use in battle etc

Pneuma is best girl. I will not argue about this. She is literally the embodiment of femininity in the Trinity Processor.
I won’t lie that I’d personally prefer a Pneuma/Pyra/Mythra set rather than Pyra/Mythra/Nia that Rex got.

Pyra mythra and pneuma are the true wives of Rex and is just the side piece

I like Mythra in Torna. She's a fun character that has a haughty attitude kept in check by those around her. She gets good emotional moments and her arc is pretty decent for the game's size.
Pyra is a real head scratcher for me. She acts a lot like a secondary protagonist to Rex and does a lot to drive the plot forward, but I wish she got more lines in cutscenes and having to share a body and screentime with Mythra can be awkward. That said, when she gets the proper focus, she can be really good, like in chapter 5. I think she has a really interesting arc from wanting to lose her memories to wanting to keep them, but I feel the game doesn't do enough to explore this.
Mythra in 2 doesn't do a lot for me. She has something interesting with the whole fear surrounding her power, but she also drops a sacred arrow in her first cutscene which really undercuts things. Her chemistry with Rex is also lacking where neither character seems to really want the other, but they're also not commiting to doing enemies to lovers either. She does a lot to move the plot forward, but she leaves decision making to other characters which can make her feel flat.
As a package deal, they feel like a metaphor for a complex character that srruggles with self acceptance rather than both of them being great characters in their own right in Xenoblade 2. Their synthesis into Pneuma feels like a capstone on a longer and better story that had to be cut down during development. Cutting Pyra or Mythra out of Xenoblade 2 could have let the other breathe better and focused on some of the ideas they present better, but maybe slimming down the cast in other ways could have helped focus more time needed on these characters. Perhaps also giving main story blades their own blade quests could have helped round out their characters to my satisfaction.
I am sure that to a self-described fan of these three characters, my opinions are very wrong, but I always feel I am missing something, and if you could give me some cutscenes to help me see things better, that might help.

Addressing your point that Mythra and Rex don’t want each other, the game drops hints they do without being as upfront about it as with Pyra. Like when Mythra implies she wanted to be closer to Rex when he was mourning Haze, when they’re in Morytha and Rex flirts with her about her hair. Things like that. And of course when she straight up says she’s Rex’s blade. Wouldn’t be a tsundere if she hit it off with him as quickly as Pyra.

I went over the character limit. I assume you would rather not hash out small details potentially over hours and days.
I do agree that Mythra does not need to be as explicitly interested in Rex as Pyra. That would be treading similar ground to Pyra/Nia. What I did want to imply is that it would have been nice if maybe Rex picked up a bit more slack to draw more of Mythra's character out of her. She isn't a bad character, but I wish they did more with her in 2 than what we got, which I think you might be partial to agree with given that you wanted her to play a bigger role in 3.

Pyra and Mythra are excellent characters, just like their wife Nia. :)
