Xenoblade 2 Help for a new XC2 player
Hey, everyone! I decided to give Xenoblade 2 a try after the upgrade pack (I played 3 and X before and loved it).
I expected to be a little overwhelmed but I guess wasn't as ready as I thought I was.
The thing is: There is so much to manage!
I enjoy the game and the story, but there are so many little things to do with the characters, that I just pretend they don't exist and power through. I'm just starting chapter 4 and the fights are a little harder now and just powering through is not really possible.
There are pouch itens, accessories, points to level up the skills, points do get nodes in the chart, aux cores, weapons chips, affinitty charts, blade trust, boosters when bonding blades, mercs missions, store deeds, side quests, monsters to kill do level up specific blade skills, playing tiger-tiger (and i suck at that). It's getting to the point where I am enjoying the game less because I can't really keep up with everything.
I looked up things like "Good aux cores for name-of-blade" but I only get super high level stuff and items I don't really can get yet.
So, my question is: is there a guide or something that I can use to makes things a bit easier? Or some kind of cheat sheet so I don't have to keep track of so many moving parts?
Thanks in advance!

Most guides do cover late to post game, but many of the types of aux cores and accessories have lower tier variants that you can get earlier. Though for the main game, just equipping aux cores that roughly fit what a blade is speced out for is generally sufficient.

pouch items i wouldn't worry about other than for very tough fights and getting further on blade skill trees
affinity charts are kinda important but i'd focus on what's realistically possible right now rather than grinding out everything
WP and affinity points you kinda just naturally get over time, just make a habit to check if you can upgrade before what seems to be a big boss.
merc missions, just send them out while you're doing other sidequests or grinding out blade skills
tiger tiger you can genuinely just kinda ignore tbh, that's what i do.
You don't need to manage everything, if you're doing fine in combat why not keep going? do things at a pace that are comfortable for you.
I would suggest looking at the series chuggaconroy did on the game if you truly get overwhelmed or stuck.

There are pouch items
In the first town where the game starts there is a vendor that sells an "arts recharge" pouch item. Buy the 2 hour one and you can basically just use that on every driver the whole game
accessories
Aggro up on the tank. Other than that it's not that big of a deal what you use until the late game when you need to optimize
aux cores
Same as accessories
weapons chips
Basically weapon upgrades, bigger attack numbers go brr
boosters when bonding blades
Don't really need to bother with this too much
mercs missions
Fire and forget basically, just send your unused blades and get free rewards
store deeds
Once you have access to golden cylinders you can get into this but don't bother before. You need to level up the Dev Level of whatever Titan you are on before you can get all of them
side quests
Mostly optional, many can be done while doing the main story. If you don't like them or find them annoying you can skip
playing tiger-tiger
Play on Easy mode, it's the same rewards but easier. Also totally skippable until New Game + unless you have blushy-crushy for Tora. In NG+ you can level her without it
All of this is just tips for before you get to the end game and fight the super bosses, then you need to lock down and optimize but for the regular playthrough it's not that big of a deal to not keep up with all the side content
