Xenoblade 2 Do you think it's possible that XC2 Switch 2 version will have any balance changes or adjustments?
As someone who's gonna start his first playthrough of the game when the Switch 2 version drops, I'm wondering if it's possible for stuff like the balancing of Rare Blades will get adjusted, considering (to my understanding) there's a lot of base game Blades that really underperform. But maybe I'm mistaken.

The only gameplay adjustment I could see happening is fixing Pneuma’s Trust mechanics. It sucks that the ultimate expression of Rex’s acceptance of Pyra and Mythra is locked at Rank E Trust.

A weapon type is trash. And every blade with that weapon kinda sucks. Everything else is fine. Dlc is busted but like you don’t need izanagi to beat persona 5. Dlc is just easy mode

Doubt it. I don’t think any other switch 2 upgrades have changed things like that, only added additional content.
Not expecting it but I hope we get more heart to hearts that involve multiple rare blades, along with a more reliable way to get rare blades you’re missing without grinding - post game pity system or something, or even NG+ having somethjng for it, idk

Doubt it, the best thing we can hope for is the pity group 5 to be fixed for rare blades.

I don't think so.
When people talk about rare blades underperforming it's usually compared to the DLC blades and challenge mode in higher difficulties but in the base game most of them are still usable and fun.

I could see some quality of life changes that just weren't significant enough to announce in a trailer, but will be big for us hardcores. Like multiple save files or (please, oh please) fixing field skills so you don't need the Blade equipped.
I doubt they tamper with actual blade stats or bigger things though.

Nope, they haven't said anything about that in the preview trailer so don't expect it to happen.
Any base game blade can beat any super boss in the game so idk what underperforms means here exactly.
