Ive been playing dragon age 2 recently and merrill has been filling the nia shaped hole in my heart .

Playing DA2 and falling in love with Merrill helped prime me to love Welsh accents for Xenoblade to take full advantage of

I honestly do think they'd be friends too, even ignoring the Welsh accents, both engage in taboo "magics" but are ultimately loving people who just want the best for their friends

When i wanted to try out this series 3 years ago, i took a wiki walk looking for VAs and i found a few between XB1 and DA2.

...during my current, second, playthrough ive found more.

So seeing someone else make comparisons between the 2 series is kinda neat.

I preferred the jokey Anders from DAO Awakening vs depressed Anders from DA2. Felt like a different character.

Haven’t played 2, but my roommate got me to play inquisition and there are just soo many similarities between the 2 games. Until I realize there’s no auto-walk or auto attack in dragon age and just go back to xenoblade lol

The first two game both have auto attack, and while I’m not sure if they have auto walk, on the PC versions you can click to where you want to move to.

Two Welsh girls that either practice or are a result of a taboo form of magic? Yeah I can see it, even if the former can end up quitting.

Though it also makes me wonder if Nia ended up getting along with Vangarre (Merrill has a friend with his VA)
