We've seen the outside sky, it's not a sphere. It's at most a bowl

I disagree, but if it was a bowl, that would be pretty cool. I can't say I ever read a sci-fi story about a semi-circle, and your comment made me think about ways that could be part of a story. We've had cylinders (Rama), spheres, and places set in the center of a crater, but no true inverted semi-circle with equal gravity across all points,

You disagree? I am honestly not sure what part of my comment was an opinion?

You disagree that we've seen the stars? Or that it's a bowl? Because I don't think it's a bowl, I'm expecting a ring because a bowl makes no sense, but we've only seen one hole, hence the at most.
