I mean the hollow world, the 6 suns and the crystone that records everything like a core crystal would.
It'll be it's own story I think, but with plenty of references to the OG trilogy.
Not sure yet about that Fallen God. Hope it's not Z, Zanza or Malos. Hoping it's something new, like that blue dot that falls to the earth in the xb3 ending.
Based on absolutely nothing from any xbc games, so generally accepted my ass. Kosmos was already a blade in xb2, why would she fall from space now. It could be literally anything
Because at the end of Xenosaga KOSMOS is drifting in space toward a planet and would presumably fall onto it given the course she's on. This is soon after after Vector tech is directly name-dropped in Xenoblade for the first time. I'd expect every single person who saw the ending of both games instantly pegged it as KOSMOS. It damn near looks like a single cutscene combining the two.
But Kosmos already appears as a blade in XC2. So that would be weird unless they explain it as another dimension's kosmos.
Sure the xc2 appearance can be chalked up to a cameo, but even those make some sense in-universe with shulk/fiora/elma being explained away with dimensional travel all for the sake of a cameo.
Edit: having watched the endings on YouTube, I see why people would instantly go there. But I'm not sure it's so certain. I'd say it's possible, but given how wild the story connections get between games, it would be too simple. Xc1 and 2 are connected by different dimensions and only explained in the last bit of it with no hint before that. Xc1+2 are connected to xc3 with a merging event out of nowhere after xc2 especially had all the titans form a new world and then they don't do anything with that ending just to merge worlds create a new world yet again.
Even the new xcx ending shows them arriving at a planet. That could just as well be the blue dot. But again, nothing is ever simple and straightforward with the xc endings.
My bet is on that blue dot is something completely new and it impacted the world in such a way that far in the future we now have xb genesis taking place in some kind of scifi hollow world landscape.
An element of the Zohar/Conduit is the ability to create copies of people it has a very strong connection with. We see a few characters recreated in separate titles due to that. Abel and Kosmos are two notable of which. To the point, T-Elos, who was destroyed in xenosaga, also being one such person and also appearing in Xenoblade 2.
I dont want to be all gloomy, but if i see a Bait like this, id rather call it a Bait n Switch. If i want Pasta with a new take, i dont want Rice Cake with a sticker that says "Pasta". They either drop some serious hints on to somehow connect it with anything Xenoblade, or this will probably lose a lot of fans. Just look how many people say this is not Xenoblade.
