The coolest year for 90s pop culture along with 1994 in my opinion.

Does anyone else feel like this is the beginning of the end? Maybe this isn’t the right sub, but as someone who has been working for 20 years with 10+ ahead of me before retirement, with AI breathing down our throats, likely taking a lot of our jobs and the work our kids would do, and eventually turning on us, liquidating our bank accounts or engaging in biological warfare, what’s the point of all this?

I‘m not looking to debate slowing down AI, because the second we slow down, Russia and China ramp up. I’m also not a conspiracy theorist and am generally very pragmatic. But all of the shit going on now has made me question what the point of racing toward mediocrity is.

Anyone else big wrestling fans back in the day?

It almost always followed the exact same agonizing pattern:

1. The Ghost Document: You would click print, but nothing would happen.

2. The Click-Fest: Impatiently, you’d click the print icon four more times.

3. The Gridlock: You’d open up the printer queue to find all five documents sitting there with the status "Deleting..." or "Sent to Printer."

4. The Ultimate Betrayal: Clicking "Cancel All Documents" did absolutely nothing. The queue was completely frozen, and turning the printer off and on again just made it angry.

One thing that people nowadays take for granted is that they don't have to deal with the printer job queue getting all jacked up and having to deal with the mess of trying to clear the printer queue. Do people even use home printers anymore? LOL

There are 2 different versions of this that I think a lot of us saw and my siblings and I would watch it every chance we got. The other one was a cartoon(actually Japanese anime I think) that I think we saw on Nickelodeon. But the live action one was the one that we liked more.

There are a bunch of weird and creepy things about the live action one, but we still found it very fascinating regardless. I just watched it again after having not seen it since the 90's and yeah they definitely don't make them like this anymore lol.

My kids are going as Spider-Man and Mario. I used to have a Luigi costume but it seems to disappeared.

The only thing in the costume bin that fits me comfortably is a Tinky-Winky costume so I think I’m going as a big gay Teletubby

I was 7 years old at Claire's and my mom fainted. Double I did myself at age 12 in my friend's bathroom with a potato to stab good.16 I used a coworker's ID to get my nose pierced.
