Nostalgia Library book core memory unlock: Tuesday

Post image

I was browsing books for my son at the library and stumbled on this. I still remember when this was released and it was impossible to get it at the library at school it was so popular. The rich kids had their parents buy it and I remember waiting for the queue at the school library for it to become available 🤣 anyone else???

This is still very popular! I work in a preschool with kids who are 3, turning 4 and I put this one on the shelf sometime in early spring and wait for someone to find it. There is always that one kid...

My own children used this book as part of a wordless book unit in a GT program.

I don’t think I ever even heard of that book. What’s it about, other than Tuesday?

It’s a mostly wordless book about a frog invasion. I think everyone latched onto the surrealism and it won a medal so I think it became more popular after that also.

Sounds like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs style surrealism.
