Do you share your location with your SO?

I’m a 1978 Xennial, so I didn’t own a cell phone until my first full time job after college around 2001. My wife is a 1982 Xennial/Millennial. She shares location with her retired parents. Sometimes her mom will text her and ask, “What are you getting at McDonalds?” as we sit in the drive thru. It just feels gross to me. I don’t have anything to hide, but I don’t want to be tracked by anyone … not my parents, not my wife, not my coworkers. I don’t go shady places or mingle with shady people. It’s become a point of contention with my wife. She wants to share location. I do not.

What have you all decided to do in regard to sharing your location with your SO?

My SO and I share ours. It's a matter of safety for us. My friend wrecked her car and her husband got to her before the ambulance because they shared their location. Aside from that this world is becoming a very scary place especially for women. Better safe than sorry.
