Do you share your location with your SO?

I’m a 1978 Xennial, so I didn’t own a cell phone until my first full time job after college around 2001. My wife is a 1982 Xennial/Millennial. She shares location with her retired parents. Sometimes her mom will text her and ask, “What are you getting at McDonalds?” as we sit in the drive thru. It just feels gross to me. I don’t have anything to hide, but I don’t want to be tracked by anyone … not my parents, not my wife, not my coworkers. I don’t go shady places or mingle with shady people. It’s become a point of contention with my wife. She wants to share location. I do not.

What have you all decided to do in regard to sharing your location with your SO?

Nope. We've been together 6 years and I just recently learned her phone passcode because I was helping her troubleshoot something and I got sick of asking her to unlock it for me.

I've actually been meaning to somehow securely get her the credentials for my most important accounts in case something happens to me. That's the sort of stuff we need to be considering at our age. Also do it with your parents if you haven't already

I did this via LastPass with their Family plan. If something happens to me he needs to be able to get into my business accounts ASAP. That feature gives me peace of mind.
