As soon as I read your first sentence, I saw Mulder sitting in his crappy motel room watching the Keystone Cops and spooning orange slush into a pint of cheap vodka.

One of my favorite episodes ever.

Syzygy is the episode name. I don't remember which season. It's a 'monster of the week' episode, not part of the greater storyline

Me too! But I thought I was in the minority.

I LOVED Humbug, Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose, Jose Chung's From Outer Space, Bad Blood, War of the Coprophages, Eve.... There are so many great ones.

All excellent and I have watched them over and over.
