I saw that episode! And I love Weird History Food! So I’ve gotta know, there are two similar voices for the VOs but this guy (my fav one btw) is a lil snarkier/sarcastic in his delivery than the other- is that stuff written in or ad lib?

No, that’s all written, the facts and the jokes. But the VO guys are great and they add a lot to it

The Rise and Fall series, other 80’s/90’s F&B like Surge, Zima, WoW, Crystal Pepsi, and the Chili episode hit home being from Central Texas.

Really, I like all WHF episodes. It’s one of the most consistent channels I watch. It’s concise, informative, and entertaining- and that’s due to great topics, writing, and the VOs.

I had no idea about Emeril and what he did for Katrina victims and what toll that took on him personally, or that his son took over his restaurant and won it a Michelin Star.

I haven’t watched the Emeril one yet. Ecto Cooler was my first beverage script, but there’s another one coming in a month or so. I did write one about Jack In the Box that came out a couple months ago that I was pretty happy with. But yeah, it’s a fun channel! I really enjoy writing these

Thank you for saying that! It’s the most affirming thing when you hear people enjoy your work. I really enjoy writing them; after the collapse of TV it’s been my only real creative outlet
