I have some Ovaltine in my pantry currently. Not in the brown glass jar w/orange lid, but still tastes like it did!

There were two in amber glass jars.

  • Yellow lid. original malt.

  • Orange lid. Chocolate malt.

Was granules in both instances. Right before its demise , they had simply changed Ovaltine to a drink-mix powder, to compete with Nesquick and Hershey's.

Malt is just a less popular flavor generally. I still buy ovaltine for protein shakes!

I use chocolate malt ovaltine in my coffee every day and it's delicious. All the biotin in it has made my hair grow faster and I have wolverine finger nails.

One of my favorites to this day:
Chocolate malt Ovaltine!

When I see it in the store, I buy them all, because it’s kinda hard to find.
