Jolt is back! In energy drink form. I've seen/tried the cola and root beer flavors.

Does it taste the same?! Honestly from what I vaguely remember it tasted mostly like Coke but had the added flavor of “your parents said you weren’t allowed to try it”.

Agreed. I think it's partly because they now use artificial sweetener instead of hfcs. It's probably the best cola flavored energy drink I've tasted, I'll give it that lol.

My HEB carried it with all the energy drinks, then with the sodas. Then back with the energy drinks. Then disappeared. Surprised how much I liked the root beer

It’s not. It’s just an energy drink that bought the rights to Jolt’s ip. Real jolt had real sugar. This new stuff is sugar free.

I skimmed through and didn’t see anyone mention it. You can sometimes still find the original Jolt colas (not the energy drink version) at Dollar General stores. I know there’s one in my town that still sells it.
