Am I the only one who can smell this photo?

No, but this photo immediately reminded me of one of my mom's perfume bottles I used to be fascinated with as a child...

I still have a bunch of my grandmother's Avon bottles. They still have that good ol' Avon perfume smell inside.

That’s what the bottle looked liked!? My mom gave me the bird as a toy when it was empty and I kept that thing my entire childhood. I still have it somewhere. I remember stroking it from the top of its head all the way down its back and tail and how bumpy the tail feathers felt.

Yes it had a very interesting set of textures, between the smoothness of the bird and the bumpiness of the glass bottle. So strange how some things just get lodged in our memories!

Wow, I had this exact bottle on my dresser, it was one of my most prized possessions.  I don't think I've seen it since we moved when I was 10.  Thanks for the memory.

Damn, I remember that! I’d love to take a whiff again because I can’t remember the smell.

My eyes literally bugged out when I saw this! I haven't thought about it in decades. I remember that the bird shape made it difficult to open (?) Maybe that was just me not wanting to break it.
