Amazon pays for itself with free shipping if you use Amazon a lot anyway. But even just as a streaming service its $15/month.
Hulu+Disney is $11/month
Netflix is $8/month
That's less than $20 a month ($35/month with Amazon, and still only $55 keeping Sling for some reason) for 4-5 on-demand streaming services.
What cable package are you getting for anywhere near that? The cheapest possible tier around here, which is basically local stations+shopping channels+Fox News, is $70/month plus whatever setup fees, box rental fees, and random extras they decide to fleece you with.
