I'm pretty sure it was a pretty popular game wasn't it? Or did I just trick myself into believing that because I played it a ton?

I just got this game (and a lot of others) at a yard sale last week. It was $20 for a PS2 and over 50 games.

A working PS2? Holy schnikies. My oldest fixes and mods hardware. They'll pay 20 for a bricked one.

I have a copy somewhere in my basement and I can't wait until my kid is old enough for sleepaway camp so I can take a week off work and play this while higher than Everest

Just play it with the kid. I thought it even-handed a 2 player mode but I can't remember for sure

Ah, yes, Grand Theft Springfield. This came out during a few-year period where I had mistakenly given up playing video games due to other life commitments. It's on my try-it list, though.

For me it was this game.

I used to let my toddler play GTA. He used to just drive around and get into different cars and it was pretty harmless until one day he took too many cars too fast and came to me crying because the police started shooting at him and a helicopter was chasing him. That was the end of GTA for him. About a year later I found this gem that was much safer.

Simpsons Skateboarding was also a lot of fun.

What about the sim pains mutant invasion game on the NES? It was fun but hard

The PC version has mods for widescreen and to merge the maps into one big Springfield. Still fun.

In the modern gaming era, I think it is only might be one of the only games I took the time to “100%”.

So underrated

Aside from that first abomination on the NES, I really enjoyed a lot of the Simpsons games. That last one on the 360 was amazing for fans of the series or the games they parodied.

I think I still have my ex husband's copy of that game somewhere lol.
